Did he not like the idea of having additional competition in Rolins? Who do you guys think will be his replacement, or are we done at LB?

I really saw this coming after yesterday. But on to the next one, we will replace him with quite possibly a upgrade in size and speed.

If you can't stand the heat (competition for position) get out of the kitchen...
I hope he finds happiness wherever he ends up.

After picking up Rolin, can only imagine who the staff replaces Powell with....

I think Rolon was offered to take the place of Powell because the coaches knew this was coming. We aren't winning enough of the battles on top players to beat the Bams, UGAs, Nd LSUs consistently.
The true measure of this staff will be when Urban's talent is gone. The majority of our stars this year were Urbanites.

I'm not sure that I buy that this is because of Rolin. I know their both listed as OLB but at 6'4", I wonder if Rolin has the frame to be more of a MLB or DE.
I also wonder if Powell is more of a tweener. At 6'0", he might be on the short side for what Muschamp really wants at LB. Only Jenkins and Taylor are scholly players listed at 6'0" on Gatorzone, but Taylor was listed as 6'1" and Jenkins at 6'2" during recruiting and both were Meyer recruits.
I wonder if Muschamp might actually have somebody else in mind for OLB other than Rolin and politely suggested that Powell look elsewhere.

Wouldn't that be more a OLBin Powell for a Buck/DE for Hatcher?
And, do you think McMillan sticks so we really do have 3 LBs in the class at least?

So you mean to say that in a year where 3/4 of our team was recruited by Meyer, Meyer's recruits had more of an impact? You don't say.
Let's not forget that a good majority of the kids Muschamp brought in contributed a good amount. Morrison, Fowler, Bullard, Jones, Humphries, etc etc. Freshmen, ahead of Urban's recruits.
