Breaking down the Unbeatens: Real Deal and the Frauds
Here is the comment on UF who are listed under the subheading Real Deal:
Quote:
THE REAL DEAL
FLORIDA (6-0) -- The Gators have resounding wins against Wisconsin and Marquette, but both came in Gainesville. In fact, Billy Donovan's team has yet to play a game outside of the Sunshine State thus far. But this team has talent with big men Patric Young and Erik Murphy and guards Kenny Boynton and Scottie Wilbekin, who missed the start of the season due to a suspension. Florida also has Casey Prather back from injury -- and now Donovan has options. He's got Mike Rosario, Will Yeguete and even freshman Michael Frazier has -- and will -- contribute.
Next Game: Dec. 5 at Florida State
Next Test: Dec. 5 at Florida State
First Loss: Dec. 5 at Florida State

Now who knows, maybe Murphy does not play with the hip pointer and UF struggles to shoot on the road. There analysis of UF seems right.

CBSsports article. Google "breaking down the unbeatens", first result.

They say we are going to lose to swac (who just lost to Mercer) but we are going to beat Arizona at Arizona and give them their first loss.
Uh huh sure!
Beating Arizona--yes.
Losing to swac--no.

Sorry, I did that quickly and forgot the link. I went back up and added it in my original post.

We are much better than FSU, but it is a rivalry game and weird things can happen when emotions go sky high. We have lost to them numerous times when we were the better squad. $h1t happens.
@AZ is probably the toughest game on our schedule. They are really good and their home court is tough. I think the only SEC team better than them is us. Losing a close game on their floor would not be the end of the world.

The Noles will lose to a Mercer than play lights out against a good opponent. If we play our game I see no reason we don't take this one.

Our fanbase is so overconfident it is crazy.
I personally will be ecstatic with a 1 point win over FSU.

I wouldn't be shocked if we lost to FSU (though I'd be incredibly pissed), but it's pretty dumb to predict an FSU win at this point. FSU has been pretty bad.

We win this game, not a good FSU team, only way we lose is if we can't hit anything.

The good thing is that there is a real tournament championship in BB and if we make the ncaa's all else is forgiven. We'll beat half-aSS-U !

So far, FSU has played 7 games, with 4 wins and 3 losses.
All their games have been at home:
Victories over
Buffalo - 95-68
BYU - 88-70
St. Joseph's - 73-66
North Florida - 75-67
Losses to
South Alabama - 71-76
Minnesota - 68-77
Mercer - 56-61
None of their victories are exactly over Top teams, right now
BYU - 5-3
St. Joseph's - 4-2
Buffalo - 2-7
North Florida - 3-5
Their losses records are:
Minnesota - 8-1 (with victories over 4-2 Memphis and 6-3 Stanford)
South Alabama - 4-3
Mercer - 4-4
Not exactly a frighteningly powerful record so far.
However, as was noted, they tend to be pretty inconsistent and they almost always bring their best game against the Gators. You never can tell how a baseketball game will go, but predicting a victory for the Noles given the way the two teams have been playing appears to be more than a bit of a stretch to me.

FSU and ACC referees. If ACC basketball refs are anything like the football refs, it could get interesting.
