Clark said Florida head coach Will Muschamp is scheduled to visit he and teammate Davarez Bryant – a senior defensive end – at some point Wednesday. Clark said the Gators have visited him twice in the past two weeks.

“Anytime you get an offer from the No. 4 school in the country, you would have to show them a lot of attention,” Clark said of a potential verbal offer from the Gators. “It would make an impact with me.”

If we get this kid on top of A.Fulwood, D. Robinson, A. Bailey, C. Thompson, and M. Hawkins...this will just be sick. 6 receivers in one class will more than make up our recent lack of success in recruiting WR talent...especially with this staff's notion to play freshman.

Considering Hammond and Hines are both graduating, really only Dubar and Patton are somewhat "safe" bets in the passing game. Debose has all the talent to be a starter, but has criminally underachieved in his career and is coming off a year where he barely saw much action at all. The rest are either freshman (Pittman and Andrades), walkons (McKneely) or a project entering his senior year (Alli).

Playing time is *definitely* a selling point--so it's no wonder we've hit the recruiting trail hard at this position.

Pease likes running 3 and 4 WR sets when he has the players to do it--and doesn't hesitate to use the WRs in the run game either (see Patton and Hines this year on jet sweeps and reverses).

Clark has speed to burn and would be a great fit in this offense--here's hoping he gets an offer soon.

If I was staff I would continue to recruit him and set up his visit as close to singing day as possible

Glad to hear Jacques is doing well. It sucks he got into trouble (hit a girl if I'm not mistaken and that was Urban's no. 1 no-no) and couldn't conclude his career as a Gator, but I am glad he has found a way to make it in this world.

Brandon James was an awesome KR/PR.

And I think it is very wise for any head coach to find himself a "jitterbug" punt returner and devote 1 of 85 scholarships solely to that. Go back and watch how James' production decreased once Urban got him involved in the offense. And yet when all he did was return kicks he was a threat each and every time.

It we offer Clark a ship I hope he spends 4 years doing nothing but returning kicks.

Clark had 22 scholarship offers when the video was posted to YouTube on Nov. 20. On Wednesday night, he said that total was up to 31.

“He is very humble,” he said. “If you didn't know he played football … he doesn't flaunt it. He is one of the top players in Florida, but he is pretty quiet about it. He barely talks about it. He is a humble guy, and a great guy. I think he has a 4.0 (GPA).”

I probably don't understand how this process works but how can we hope to land him if we haven't even made an offer yet? What is Muschamp waiting for? The article posted above says he had 31 offers....if it were me, I wouldn't even consider a program that waited until the last minute to offer a scholarship....aren't the coaches making him feel second rate?

Watched the video. Great speed, long strides, but did not see the shiftiness or juking ability we're looking for in a KR/PR. He reminds me of
Debose and his straight-line speed. Also don't see him being very physical. With Thompson and Bailey on board, do we still go after him?

We have all the WRs we need. When Robinson committed, that finished our recruiting at WR. Our coaches are still working Clark in the event that another WR decommits or that we just end up with an extra ship to give away on signing day. I agree that he's a special talent, but he isn't significantly different than Chris Thompson or Alvin Bailey. We've got five WRs. Got bigger needs than a sixth WR. If Clark has 31 offers, he's not in danger of getting left hanging.
