Agreed completely. This whole thing about UK and the 1 and dones is getting pretty old. It is what it is. Either Cal is doing it fairly or he's not. No need to continue to harp on it.
UK will take it's lumps this year early, but you're setting up for a fantastic year next year because several of your guys this year will stay to play with the top class next year.
UF-UK are going to have 3, maybe 4 absolutely WARS next year. I can't wait!

i'm pretty much in love w/ this team. love the defense especially...and there's no appreciable let-up on offense from last season. still have some things to improve upon too!

Best looking? I'll check with my daughter, but I have to disagree. While Young's quite handsome and Boynton's not bad looking, Wilbekin is butt ugly and Murphy adds to the legacy of ugly white big men going back to Bill Walton. I guess Prather has a nice physique. UF has a lot to live up to after guys like Horford, who is a legitimate international sex symbol and David Lee, who has been described as a 6'9" ringer for Ben Affleck, but this team is hardly good looking. They sure play well though.

Hey, if the football team is sexy; this basketball team is at least good-looking.

Indiana beat UNC by 24. UNC lost to Butler by 11. Butler beat Marquette at the buzzer. We beat Marquette by 33 or so. Does that mean we would beat Indiana? Any statisticians out there?

IU and PUKE look just a slight notch above us...
Let's see what F$U, UofA, and K$U hold for us in December...

I tend to value the meaning of student-athlete and what Calipari is doing has absolutely nothing to do with that. What's twisted is twisted. If you want to sweep it under the rug and act like it's not there then go ahead. I'll keep calling it what it is.

Actually Strange, that was my first reaction to the initial statement also.
When it comes to playing basketball, this team looks pretty good, perhaps, from a male perspective, as good as Clara Bow.

I agree this team is looking mighty special. I haven't watched Indiana or Duke yet, but this group of Gators has me more excited this early in the season than any other Gator team I've seen (except I suppose the '07 team considering what they did the year before ).
This team actually reminds me of this year's Gator football team. Not offensively - we look pretty good on that "side of the ball".
But, defensively it looks like we're going to make a lot of opponents look ugly with our swarming defense. And, we'll probably miss out on style points from the pollsters as people chalk up another Gator win to the opponent having an "off night"

Definitely looking very good. And we are about to be adding some big time talent.

And lose some big time experience.

We could beat Indiana. We match up well. They struggled with GTown and UNC lost a lot from last season. I'd like to see more

I think Wilbekin has something about him pretty sexy. Prather is cute in his dopey way. Murphy? Well, I give you comely, but he has a clueless look that is attractive.
But what do I know. I married a very good looking man, but that would be classified as a nerd for sure. I have a weakness for the sporty brain type.
