He's been quiet for months. Most be some movement in test scores or GPA. That would be great news. I think he's been pro UF all along.

We have to get Treadwell on campus first. Young needs to step it up in the recruiting department.

This year I decided not to religiously follow recruiting like I did the past four years. Life couldn't be better right now.

GatorCountry is the best Gator Sports board, and also the most conservative.

Interesting that UM is not in the picture considering his coach is an ex UM player. If I was a potential UF WR recruit, I'd like to see UF announce a WR coach asap.
If his grades are bad, I'd think his list would be more like Wva, Louisville, Marshall, etc, not UF, UNC, etc.

He has had some of those schools on his list in months past. That's when I wrote him off. His list has recently changed.
No telling what's going on here. Grades are kept very private. Test scores sometimes leak out, but I don't know how low is too low to get a visit. Our admissions department is very GPA focused.
The good thing about grades is that these days, a student can voluntarily allow the admissions department see his academic progress in real time, instead of just waiting until the end of a term. It might not earn an official visit, but it can get the player back in good standing with the coaches.
Bottom line is that he can't screw around. The difference between not doing well enough to be admitted as a scholar athlete to UF and not being able to go anywhere is miniscule. If he's not closing the gap, he needs to be visiting JUCOs.

I'd love a fifth WR in this class, one more DT, one OL, and one more LB.
Regardless, I have a feeling after what Muschamp's kids have accomplished this season that we;re going to have a HUGE recruiting haul this year.

No question about it. He knows how to win on the field as a head coach and he's always known how to identify talent and sell his school. We're just starting to get a glimpse of his uncanny ability to fill the spots that need filling most and getting players he knows how to coach.
I want one more WR, or one more RB. But if Coley gets his academics in order, I want Coley. The clips I saw of him in drills against some of the top rated CBs in the country blew my mind. He can't be jammed at the line. Hardly anyone could stick with him on short routes. Even when they did, he out jumped them and jerked the ball out of the air. He gets decent separation on long routes, but again, when the ball is anywhere near him, the separation doesn't matter. The ball is his. For a guy his size, his catching radius is huge. He's supposedly 6'2", but his wingspan must be close to 6'6". I don't even remember how he runs with the ball. When a guy can run routes and attack the ball that well, I don't care if he trips every time as long as he comes down with it.
If you're reading this Stacy, close your damn computer and do your homework.
