Which Juniors come back?
I've read that Easley and Elam might be leaning towards staying but I'm not sure. Maybe Floyd too because of his recent adoption by a rich family and the depth of the D-lineman in this year's draft class. Does anyone have any info on which way our juniors (Floyd/Elam/Easley/Jenkins) are leaning? If they all come back we might have the best defense in the country but it may affect recruiting? However, the biggest recruiting job by WM might be getting these 4 to stay in school for their senior year.

I think it's a good shot they all come back for the sec/nat, championships and their draft status would be higher. With the addition of ROPO, the defense will be nasty next year.

If they all come back there is no question in my eyes Florida would be the favorite. With Jenkins getting injured again I think he will be back for sure. Elam scares me he's so good I can see him leaving but if he wants a title he could stay. Easley I think stays. Floyd is going to go pro IMO but you never know. I'd like to see Jordan Reed to stay as well.

I don't know why Jenkins would go, honestly I was more impressed with Morison as his backup.

Well WM talked about how if you have eligibility left and are not projected as a first round pick you should stay for your senior year. I'm hoping that the juniors take heed to this because on many draft boards I haven't seen them as first round picks but second. Maybe if they all stay they realize they can do something special and all make it into the first round next year.

Jenkins played injured mostly, but Morrison is a beast - he'll be one of the best before he graduates.

This. He might not even be drafted. He needs at least one more year.

Yeah....Reed leaving early doesn't sound like a wise idea for the kid. With another offseason under his belt he'd be a beast next year....but a beast in college, not NFL....not yet anyway...especially at TE

This is basically my thoughts as well. I believe Reeds siyuation will depend on what te's are going to leave for the pros compared to who will be going pro the year after. Teams will grab a good te in a heart beat. However, I still believe he woulkd benefit a lot if he stayed another year. If he could improve on his blocking, it could mean a lot come pay day.

Reed is a 4th year JR and leaving could have more to do with just being done with college life than truly thinking he is a 1st round pick.
I think Elam, Floyd, Easley and Reed are all gone. The first two are ready, the second are not, but as I said, could just want to move on.
Possible transfers could be five to eight players, opening up more spots for this recruiting class.

Is there any sources for the "Reed is leaving" statement that keeps popping up? He's good but he could make himself some money by staying another year.

I knew you meant that.
Just think how sick our defense would/will be with both of them healthy.

Here is how you sell a kid that isn't ready for the NFL to come out early...
"If you make a team, the minimum salary is $375k. If you get hurt next year, you will just get a job and it could take you 10 years to make $375k with that degree in Sports Management."

On a scale from 1 to 10 with the greatest likelyhood of going being a 10 and the least likelyhood being a 1, here's how I see it.
Floyd - 8.7 (will get the hard sell from RoPo and Easley to stay for his senior year)
Elam - 8 (Likely at least a third-round pick, maybe a second rounder. Will also get the hard sell to stay for his senior year from RoPo and Easley)
Easley - 4 (Doesn't quite have a position yet for NFL action. Not quite a DE and not big enough to play interior in the NFL yet. Needs to gain at least 15 pounds this offseason and dominate on the interior)
Jenkins - 1 (I don't think he has a legitimate shot of being drafted this year)
Jordan Reed - 7 (Only reason I say that is because everyone who claims to be in the know says he is gone. I don't think he goes before round four. That being said, I don't think he would go much higher than late second after a very good senior year).
Patchan - 8.2 (Just kidding, but I do hope the poor guy gets healthy for one year and gets to play some next year. For those who remember seeing him play as a true freshman, the guy had serious talent)
