I saw the story on the front page of Gator Country and saw that JUCO lineman Trenton Brown signed today. Is this also the first day that high school EEs can sign too? If so, has D Rob signed yet. I am still holding out hope for him, though very little.

Hoping he pulls a Terrence Barber.

High school EEs don't sign letters of intent, really?
They just enroll and show up is what you are saying?
If that is the case, we will not know for sure until the first day of class in January, correct?

they sign something when they show up to enroll in class but yes we wont know until they are on campus

The EE's dont sign anything regarding comittment. Their class enrollment and attendance is their "signing" or "loi" correct?

I believe EEs do sign LOIs, but until signing day. They merely enroll and start classes early.

Technically, they could enroll early, decide it was a mistake and not sign the LOI, transfer without any limitation from the football program.

I remember the NCAA issued an official statement on the subject (cant find a link or exact story) with the TN debacle and Ed Orgeron when he "told" the kids that were to enroll early not to attend class, etc or show up....so they could go to USC without an official transfer

Yeah, I think if you ATTEND a class, your LOI is considered signed and you must sit if you transfer, and that EE's dont sign actual LOI's.

Florida coach Will Muschamp added three players to his football program Wednesday, the first day junior college prospects could sign their national letters of intent.

The Gators received signatures from defensive tackle Darious Cummings (Scooba, Miss./East Mississippi C.C.) and offensive tackles Trenton Brown (Milledgeville, Ga./Georgia Military) and Tyler Moore (Clearwater/St. Pete College).

“I've said a number of times that the Southeastern Conference is a line-of-scrimmage league and all three of these players will help us with our depth on the line of scrimmage,” UF coach Will Muschamp said.

The trio of JUCO linemen enroll at UF next month and will be eligible to play next season.

Cummings could make the most immediate impact, as Florida is expected to lose junior defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd to the NFL Draft and return just three players at the position.

Seems that article is saying that JUCO transfers signed their NLI yesterday. Non-transfer EEs (i.e. incoming freshmen) enroll, start classes, and then sign their actual NLI in Feb.
