I just tuned in on ESPN2. They were talking about how UK's PG play is being weak this year. I'm going to watch the second half and see what they commentator is talking about.

UK on a run. They're D doesn't impress me at at. Plus they already have 14 turnovers with 8 mins to go. Quick SG in Goodwin and good 3-pt shooters. UK up by 8. UK looks very beatable. I think we're a better team.

omg morehead state coach is fired for sure...
pretty strong shove and verbal abuse was a bit intense. I don't see anything wrong with it but this country is a bunch of softies.

Gators should be able to beat this weak UK team up. They're atrocious on the defensive glass.

Can't wait for boynton to lock Goodwin up. Then put Scottie on him for some double the dose of defense.

Alex Poythress had a couple nice jams at the end. One of them he just kept going up like he had jets on his sneaks. UK is a great shot-blocking team but this might cost them with their defensive rebounding. If KB can shut down Archie Goodwin, there is no doubt that we'll beat this team. Nerlens Noel looks like all he does is block shots. Just looked at Noels line--he had 11 rebs and 4 assists. He must have done most of his damage in the first half when I wasn't watching the game.

It's November every team is trying to find their identity. This was a great game to play against a scrappy team who has a lot of heart just like their coach does. The Cats are finding out you have to play every possession and the youngins are getting punished by aggressive defense. I like where we are but have plenty to work on!!

Why? He didn't like the way the player came to the bench and he let him know that wouldn't be tolerated. Good for him!! Woods will have Morehead in the hunt in the OVC.

yeah, UK is like a brand new team working together. wouldn't put too much stock in this game. they'll be greatly improved by the time the sec slate rolls around. nevertheless, at this stage UF is stronger, imo.

Gotta say, pretty spot-on analysis in this thread so far. I agree with most of it. I don't think it'll be easy having someone lock down Goodwin though. That kid can play. Best bet, IMO, is to try and pressure him into playing too quickly or out of control.
I've been more impressed with Noel than anyone else though. No one plays harder and he's a great passer - just can't rebound. At this point in the year, I'd pick Florida to beat Kentucky pretty easy. Question is how much can UK improve relative to Florida's improvement.

I'm glad Billy does not feel the need to be physical with his players and humiliate to make a point.

Coach Cal said after the game that he suspect the game plan for every team that plays them this season will be to get really physical with them. He said that they have to work on getting stronger and also share the ball better.

UK is not weak. They're extremely talented once again. As they gain experience the UK talent will separate itself from most other teams.
The SEC championship is up for grabs, however, between UF, UK, Mo, and Bama (and UT, people say, although I don't know why). So far, UF has been the most impressive.

Missouri looks pretty strong this year. They will be a tough game for sure and we'll be in the SEC race.
I would be very dissapointed if Florida does not beat UK at least once this year. While they are talented, the UK freshman class is nowhere near the level of the last 2 yrs. With that said, they will improve as the season goes on and be a tough game. I like our chances a lot this year.

Exactly! That coach who shoved his player is a douche.
