There aren't as many hot easy bimbos in Gainesville and you don't get the movie star treatment. I think the crackdown on the potheads will hurt recruiting also. Seems the best athletes smoke pot or have poor grades or both, which we can't recruit.
Uh oh. Does this mean Washington and Colorado are gonna be reeling in the 5 stars?
If they leave they will be replaced by kids that are just as elite there is basically a waiting list for USC right now. Our class is almost done only two USC commits we would look at right now Jason Hatcher and Jalen Ramsey.
Also Haden said yesterday,
"Lane is my head coach, 150 percent, now and hopefully for a long time," Haden told the Los Angeles Times. "I see the future. I see the potential. I know what he's been fighting through and I like what he's done."
Yeah, it's not every coach that can take a preseason #1 team and have it 7-4 after 11 games.

like others have said he needs to fire his father. Lat year the main reason they lost games was because of the D the same with this year. The talent on defense is also not what USC is used to they should have not been ranked number 1 in the first place.
The talk of him having to fire his father is ironic, since the only reason he is a head coach is his father.
Most guys put years and years in before getting a shot at being a HC. Thanks to his Dad, he moved up the ranks faster than he should have.
I love how people just assume it was all because of his dad. The guy was OC at USC. He is a great recruiter as well. Teams hire him because him and ED can recruit their ass off. If I was his father I would retire so my son can keep his dream job.

You are fooling yourself if you think Monte had nothing to do with junior getting the Tennessee and USC jobs. Lane even marketed himself that way..."I'm the only one who can bring my dad...a brilliant NFL DC....to your program."
When Lane was hired at both places, no one was gushing over his coaching ability, but everyone (I mean their fans) was drooling at the prospect of having Monte Kiffin coach their defense.

Everyone was gushing over his and Ed's recruiting ability. Did Monty help? Yes but that happens with a lot of successful peoples children. If he couldn't recruit nothing Monty could have said would have gotten Lane those jobs.
I love it. Hopes he stays for a long, long time. As someone said already, USC will get their recruits. That can't be helped. But with Kiffen at the helm there could be plenty of 3-4 loss seasons for them on the horizon and that suits me just fine.
That's right!
Keep Kiffy at USC and you will continue to see a program continue to falter....
Why?
Because it is more than his "great" recruiting AND its more than the Hollywood lifestyle that they have.
What they DO have is a coach that is there for himself.
Ask Al Davis what he thinks of Kiffy.
Ask any Tennessee Booster what they think of Kiffy.
Not just some fans... but ask any Vol Booster and those on the inside as to how Kiffy acted.
Does ANYONE think that anybody connected with the University of Tennessee wants this man back on their campus???
And now... USC is stuck with him.
Kiffy is like the rudder on the Titanic.
He is not the huge iceberg that has ripped silently through the hull of the Titanic.
He is not the gashing hole on the right side of the ship.
He is not the water rushing in the gash.
He is the rudder.
The water is pouring in but no one on board is truly aware of how bad their situation is.
All they can sense is that the boat's engines are off and silent...and that folks are being asked to put on life jackets.
Men and women are being asked to calmly go to the main deck and wait outside for a lifeboat.
Within three hours... all hell breaks loose!
What happened three hours earlier?
Because the Titanic's rudder was so small, it could not turn the boat quick enough to totally avoid the iceberg.
Every British ship built following the Titanic disaster had a bigger and strong rudder.
USC is like the passengers on the Titanic. They have no idea that their ship as been gashed... and how quickly their "ship" will sink under Kaptain Kiffy.

Exactly. Kiffin is a joke. Look at the path of destruction he leaves in his wake, Oakland, Tennessee, and before long, USC.
Oh and that special recruiting that he and Ed are so good at got Tennessee on probation.
Yeah Oakland, he was fired for cause and Davis voided his contract. How often do you see that happen? Answer: never.
He left UT after only one year and after he left he got them put on probation. The gift that keeps on giving.
Not sure why you are defending him, but he is a proven liar and a fraud.
He'll be fired from USC soon enough.
Well why would anybody hire him for an NFL job in the first place? Al Davis was crazy this can not even be disputed. If you blame anyone for the Oakland debacle it is Al Davis.
He left UT they have a tiny bit of probation because of what some coach on his staff did, It is nothing major and nothing to worry about. He left for his dream job and others would do the same.
What about him is a fraud?
He might get fired from USC but that doesn't take away the fact that he can recruit and he is a pretty decent OC. He will continue to get good jobs because he can recruit. And he should fire his father because that defense is terrible.
