With recruiting RBs or recruiting in general?
I would have said I'm delighted with the 6 we have committed already. We are at the same point in terns of numbers as we had at this time last year (I believe we picked up 3 more in early April).
RB is going to have to be strategic though and Hurd I reckon was always a good bet to stay in Tennessee despite their struggles of late. Obviously we'd all like a Sony Michel or whomever to fall into our laps but think about it, we have Jones, Taylor and Lane - 3 high quality backs who are either Sophs or Freshmen. If I'm a top back that might concern me because each one could be a quality back for UF.

I'm assuming you wanted to say "wasn't", right?
Yea, kid has a ton of offers, but not a bunch from SEC schools. Rivals is yet to rate/rank him.

Yes I meant wasnt he is a nice player though. The kind of player other SEC teams might make a move for late in the cycle once they miss out on their top target.

Todd Kelly JR is a very gregarious and charismatic guy and is pushing Tennessee's in-state and "legacy" targets to come on board asap and it's paying dividends. I think we could have Dillon Bates, Rashaun Gaulden, Josh Malone and the Berry twins all committed by the spring game. A top 5 class is within reach here. We have not done that in a very long time.

You can get 4 of those guys and nobody on this board would care at all. Please take Gaulden and the Berry twins so we can continue to destroy your secondary.
We do however care about Josh Malone and would like him and Orange and blue. You build a top 5 class by getting elite Linemen and I dont see any of your list.

Well, it is just March and I meant this was a good looking start and there are some good DT's on our board who are viable. I definitely think we get Malone and maybe even Kitt.

If Butch can recruit you should get Malone but you never know CWM has a few friends of the program and he can recruit. Nobody cares about Kitt. Vols had the best QB WR combinations in the nation last year and lost to some bad teams remember that.

Saw the tweet from Givens. Said he would commit on the spot if offered. Love that pic of him in the yard with the rusty weights.
Also, off topic, but it looks like Denzel Ward and Will Grier are becoming pretty tight. What do you think of Ward?
