Pretty evenly matched so far, but we have pulled out to a 27-21 lead at the under 8 in the first half. George and Lewis doing most of the damage so far.

Ugh! 16-0 FSU run out of the timeout, they lead 37-27. We are not handling their defensive pressure well at all.

Disastrous last 8 minutes. 28-2 FSU run, we just couldn't stop them inside or do anything on offense (were even 0-4 on FTs).

FSU leading 49-29 at the half. They look like a clear top 20 team; we clearly have a ways to go.

Absolutely amazing that UF has fallen so far behind FSU and Miami in WBB.

It's all about recruiting... I knows UF signed one top recruit in the early signing period, but that was it. And this is the best year ever for girl's basketball in Florida and Butler should have loaded up.

The talent is the best it has ever been. This team is just unbelievably young. There are going to be flashes of great things but there are going to be these types of games as well. The team should grow a lot over the course of the year and hopefully get an NCAA bid and finish similar to last year. Next year is when everything is in place. These freshmen will have grown up a lot plus two new players who are McDonald'sAll Americans will be added to them along with Dimaite.

FSU played a 7-player rotation consisting of 5 seniors and 2 juniors. They have a top 10 class coming in, but next year for them is going to look very similar to this year for us. Expect a very different result 12 months from now in Gainesville.

Still, this team clearly has a chance to be really good. It just needs to come together quickly - the 3 games in Vegas over Thanksgiving are crucial to stay on track for NCAAs.

I agree with stingbb. People keep telling me we are getting better. But results on W and L's. We are probably 3 or 4th best in the state. How are we going to in the top 50% of the SEC when 7 Sec. teams are ranked? Isn't this Butler's 5 year? It is always next year with her. But it is early. Wait until March. She might make me out a liar.
