Agreed. It's a good chance to get the freshman some game time. I sure didn't like seeing Murphy take a shot to the head on that last possession. We can't afford another injury.

Yep, looks like Ala. St. lost to Mid. Tennessee in their first game by 45, so hard to really gauge a whole lot from this blowout.

The lineup now is Graham, Kurtz, Walker, Ogbueze and Frazier II.....four freshmen and a walkon.

OT: South Carolina needed OT to beat Milwaukee. What happened there?

How about the last minute 4 freshman and a walk-on. Ala State had a lot of freshmen Bill Koss kept saying. Clearly outmatched. We have some good talent. Hopefully we will stay healthy and get Prather and Scottie back.
A side note: the pg freshman Ogubueze is a lot like Rosario, never, I mean never, do these two like to pass up shots. Ogubueze likes to drive to the hole like Erving but is a little larger. Billy pulled Rosario about halfway through the second half because he was slacking on defense and due to the score.
Frazier missed everything he threw up except he is deadly on FT's. Graham had a hard time getting shooting chances but was mixing it up for steals and rebounds. Walker, 6'6" freshman had a decent game, 5 or 6 pts, 3 or 4 Rebounds and an assist or two. Pleasantly surprized with Devon Walker. All the freshmen will get limited chances when the tough games start. Play unselfish, play D, help set up teammates and shoot only when you are open is the key for more playing time, plus hitting their shots.
The front line players were steady and improved for the better. Hope they stay healthy.

I thought Murph played a great game, albeit against some lowly competition, but he looks stronger and more physical in the early going, and his post up moves look to have improved. I know he's always had some ability with his left hand, but that seems to be one area where he has definitely improved.

Didn't get to see the game, but great to see they took control early and didn't relent. Very good win. Wish we could be 2-0.
