Nkemdiche decommits from Clemson
The writing has been on the wall for some time on this one.

Grayson's Nkemdiche decommits from Clemson
By Will Hammock (1671)
As of Thursday, November 8, 2012
Grayson senior Robert Nkemdiche, the nation's No. 1 football prospect, has decommitted from Clemson, Rams head coach Mickey Conn confirmed Thursday morning.
The 6-foot-5, 270-pound defensive lineman chose the Tigers this summer, but the constant pressure and heavy recruiting didn't slow down much for the five-star recruit. Conn said he notified the Clemson coaches of the decision on Sunday.
"I think he's still very interested in Clemson, but he's got a brother (Denzel) who goes to Ole Miss and he's got other schools that he likes as well," Conn said. "He's going to clear his mind and take some other visits."
Clemson and Ole Miss, where Denzel is a redshirt freshman linebacker, are still among Nkemdiche's favorites, as are Alabama, LSU, Florida and Oregon. Speculation that the standout plans to commit to Ole Miss isn't true either, Conn said.
The coach said he expects Nkemdiche to take his time with this decision with a likely decision on National Signing Day, Feb. 6.
"At this point, I think it's a family decision," Conn said. "The family's going to get together and make the best decision for Robert."
In addition to the recruiting process, Nkemdiche may have a lot of high school football left. Grayson hosts Brookwood on Friday, then last year's Class AAAAA state champions are hopeful of another deep playoff run.
Nkemdiche also plays running back for the Rams.

Everybody saw this coming. But he will end up at Ole Miss -- which is fine with me considering its between Bama, Georgia, and Ole Miss.

The money in the "kitty" ran out. Time to move on to the next highest bidder.

lol, He's not going to Ole Miss...
Bama, LSU, Oregon and the Gators are on another level. He's going to a powerhouse...
He will end up at a place that has a chance to win a NC in the next 3 years... That ain't Ole Miss.
I can't say I like our chances, but he listed us as a contender, so I am pretty stoked... He see's that this is a young team that is winning... I wouldn't count us out until he decides on NSD.

Don't be surprised if he went to Ole Miss... IMO he won't but it wouldn't shock me if he did. UF has a slim chance... Don't see it happening for us though.

I would be shocked if he went to Ole Miss. It is obvious his brother playing there will have much affect on his decision. His brother was not nearly the recruit he is. Clemson is not nearly the team it seemed last year and like stomp and chomp mentioned, he will go to a school that he believes he can win a NC in the next 3 years. JMO. But I will not count out the Gators because WM is a good salesman and believes in his product. But reality is reality. Who knows?

That too!
Will Muschamp is a defensive-minded coach who knows how to bring in big commits... If Nkemdiche signed here, he would be the Jadaveon Clowney boost that South Carolina got... But our team is much much better on defense... He would be the BOOST our D needs. Whether or not he sees that, I have no clue... BUT he picked the best 2 teams in the SEC West and he picked, imho, the only team in the East who seems to be on the up-and-up. Oregon being there is no shocker too... If he goes to Oregon, he'd do some great things...
Out of all 4 of those teams, 2 of them are winning a NC in the next 4 years. Not counting Bama's impending NC this year...
He'll go to a place where he can win, then, after getting all of that National attention and after getting a title, he'll use that winning momentum to jump to the NFL.... THAT's his business plan...

And, possibly their best-committed WR in DeMarcus Robinson.

So lets "assume" Clem$on dumped some green on him and he has now backed out. Is that like a drug dealer getting his stash stolen? Ie, you cant really call the cops and report it.

Pretty hard to do that since his mom lives in Nigeria and is calling all the shots. Sounds like the family might be pretty well off anyway. It's not always about money. The mom said months ago she didn't support his decision to go to Clemson.
