Doesn't look so bad, PS Jelenai Jenkins isn't leaving early. I don't think Easely is either.

I think Bullard can play DT... That will help... Easley is going to the NFL and RoPo may still convince Floyd to stay and make a run... The problem at WR next year is no different than what we have this year but we may get some help...

Other than DT which I think Easley sticks I like the look of the team
I'd say 4 or 5 true freshmen need to be able to add depth with Bailey, Taylor and Fulwood injecting a little electricity into the offense

Looking at our recruits, Lane, Taylor should be impacts at RB and I expect out OL to be pretty good so offensively we should still be more than effective.
We are reloading on D - our secondary should be lights out for years to come. Hardin won't replace Sturgis immediately but he's going to be a good one I reckon.
I think the biggest need is at TE - if Thompson and Taylor can make an impact, that's a key thing IMO. We will lose Reed I expect - those two will need to step in!
Don't fret - we're in better shape than you fear I reckon

same wideouts as this year and we are 7-1 right now. Dont count on the DT playing early unless we get Adams if Gilmore plays early it will probably be at end and thats if we get him. Joe Ivey will play DE he is enrolling early so I expect him to get on the field. Q Williams is practicing at DT and Easley & Bullard can move inside. Easley played DT last year and played some DT last week vs UGA. Orr is coming along well.

We haven't made it past this yr, and we are worried about next yr already. If we had to play next yr's schedule right now and do it with out all those who are missing then I'd be worried.
But we don't, there is alot of weight training, practices and young guns to be placed on this roster. Taylor and Lane will be a difference in the backfield, and as far as DT bullard will probably end up there sooner rather than later anyway, along with Orr and Easley, and Jacobs we should be fine.

Well, this year is almost over. I don't think Georgia loses to Ole Miss or Auburn so the SEC Championship is out. All we really have to look forward to is the FSU game and if we lose that this year will feel just like last year only with a better record.

A "sky is falling in 2013" thread halfway through our 2012 season? Wow! Step away from the ledge, my friend.

On Defense we lose Hunter, Floyd Bostic and Evans and Floyd might stay so we are returning 7 maybe 8 on Defense. On offence we lose Gillislee, Hindes, Nixion,Wilson, Hammmons ,maybe Reed. So 6 or 7 returning starters. We are working on a top 5 recruiting class with 2 or 3 guys committed that could play Tackle Brantley , Ivey, Sheift and are in the running for at least 2 more I really don’t see a problem next year

WHAT!!! Same year but with a better record?? I know I am not the only one who doesnt understand that statement. If we were to drop the game to FSU we would finish the regular season 10-2. How could you not be any happier with 10-2 than you were with 7-6?? That seems to lack any logic at all. Most people would have called you insane if you said we were gonna win 10 games this season, but now it is very realistic. While it would be EXTREMELY disappointing to lose to FSU I would still be thrilled with the season we had.
As for next season. Driskel with have a full year under his belt. Lotta hype around Lane and Taylor, to go along with Brown and Jones. OLine will continue to get better. I think Reed and Burton both come back. Wideout could be an issue but I think our running game will be fierce enough to make most teams sellout to stop it. Also, and maybe most important, we will be in the SAME SYSTEM.
As far as defense goes. Muschamp and Quinn. Enough said IMO.

It was so retarded, I read right past it. That kind of garbage always gets posted after a heartbreaking loss, wether we're 11-1 or 6-5. Some people can't control their emotions.

I like the whole idea of "same year but with a better record." Oh, is that all? The only difference between the two seasons is the number of games we won? Why, that hardly matters at all!

I guess you don't hate losing to Georgia as much as I do. The only thing worse is losing to FSU. If we could give up the wins against LSU and South Carolina in exchange for wins against Georgia and FSU I would take it without hesitation and call the season a roaring success. We'd still be 10-2 but it's a lot different kind of 10-2.
