We're at 20. How many of these do you figure?
Figuring these are our hopefuls left on the board:
Gilmore
North
Denson
Dawson
Anzalone
Ramsey
Adams
Trenton brown
Harris
From the boards, sounds like we most likely pencil in Harris and Anzalone. And things are starting to look really good with Dawson. Think we pull any others?
Also, why didnt we also go after McQuay?

Been slow lately on the recruiting trail. I would love for us to land one or to this weekend.

Our biggest issue this year is more players we like than schollies. We take 6-7 more max with a lot of interested players. We must chose wisely.

I think we take six or seven more. I think the team will see some go to the draft, and some transfer, due to not breaking into the starting rotation. I think the staff will suggest that some move on, and some may end up finished with football due to injury as well. But to be selective with our final spots will be essential with the end of this class.

19 + Those 5.
We would still have a spot or two for Gilmore, Denson or Ramsey.

Tyler moore #20..may not count him as a "recruit" per say but u still add him to the 85 limit. Also was thinking...what about the 5th yr seniors who have already gotten their necessary credits in..do they still need a scholly? Patchan, being a 6th yr senior next yr, he has to be close, if not done with his degree.

Good question. He seemed to really like Vanderbilt in the beginning, then we got our few, now he is looking around...
Big news on him OVing Oregon... Parents going with him... I think they are the faves now.

Adams and another DL would be awesome. Should another big DT commit effect Caleb Brantley, or would a Mont Adams plus perhaps Gilmore make the class regardless of if CB is in it or not?

Well, it might be time to let some current bench warmers choose to stay on the team without a scollie or bid their goodbye..
Not Patchen though.....at least not yet.

Which bench warmers do you have in mind? I'm not doubting you, I'm just wondering who this would involve

We have 13 SRs. There will be 3-5 transfers. 1-3 NFL jumps and we currently have 7 OPEN ships (or they were given to walk-on SRs and will be open again next year)
That is a MIN of 24 and a MAX of 28. As Aaron pointed out, we are currently at 20, leaving 4-8 spots.
Best 4 Available: Adams, Tunsil, Harris & OJ Howard(this will be more real if he returns for an official)
Most Likely 4: Dawson, Brown, Harris, ???

Dawson, brown, harris, and anzalone is what im hearing. Maybe throw in a DT if we can snag gilmore or adams. Maybe ramsey as cb (doubtful) and maybe a wr (again doubtful)

First time I have heard of senor Howard so am curious. Why would he consider us now when Bama's known to effectively integrate TEs as weapons and we landed two stellar TEs last class and he is a citizen of the fine state of Alabama? Seems like an Alabama offer is a "dream come true". Also, Bama's not exactly loaded at TE having taken one per in past three classes.

Would be a strong finish but still hoping we land another true DT- praying for Montravious and hoping we manhandle georgia Saturday to all but seal the deal there.

Die, Howard came on his own dime for an unofficial for the SC game, and of course, it went well. ESPN did a write up, not sure I am suppose to like it, so I will let google works it's magic for you.
As I said, I will start to believe he is a real opportunity IF he returns for an Official Visit. That is my opinion and not based on any article. I feel that he would be one of the best available players at a position of very high need. Just my opinion.
I would guess Anzalone too, based on he keeps coming to UF on his own dime, but until he decommits, I wouldn't list him as most likely. The others I feel very good about if they are all who UF wanted.

A lot of Notre Dame fans seem to think that Anzalone will decommit. Where there's smoke, there's fire. He didn't show up to his scheduled official visit, and that was the weekend after the talks from our camps about a committed player to another school giving his silent to Champ.
If anyone were to make a silent, Harris would be a strong candidate. He's a Gator fan who is a legacy... He's taken his time in going out and looking around, even showing Texas a strong level of interest... but I believe that's only because Texas was the first to offer. With things going our way, I think he is 100% going to be a Gator.
Tunsil, to me, is a complete mystery. He favors Alabama and Georgia (Mainly Bama), but I have a feeling that he may be playing one of the best games ever. Keeping his true thoughts close to his vest. He never really has anything good to say about UF... yet he keeps showing up in Gator gear. I don't know what to think really... he may just be waiting to see how the SEC shakes out... We beat Bama in the Championship game, things might change rather fast. NFL Teams targeting Saban as a Coach... I doubt he leaves, but hey, you never know with that guy... Ask a Dolphins fan.
Trenton Brown, I feel like this guy is on the back-burner. We got him to decommit from Georgia and a lot of us want to believe he is the next OT for this class... but I haven't heard anything about him in a minute. The only reason we would slow-play this guy is because we have another, better, OT we are pursuing. The Laremy Tunsil effect... I wonder how long we will keep Trenton waiting... Would be a shame if he committed somewhere else and then a week later Tunsil signs with Bama.
We have to be patient with Dawson. He is freshly decommitted, let him travel around and check things out. He is still very high on the Gators. In the end, I feel like we'll land him, but we can't be strict like Michigan was with him... gotta let him do his thing and hope he comes back to Florida in the end. I think he will... just too much pulling him here.... Dillard, the Pouncey's on twitter, Champ telling him he will be the future All-SEC guard that we need.
I think we get Montravius. We are hot stuff right now, and I am more than positive that he see's what Sharif Floyd is doing and where Floyd is going at the end of the year. The closest person we have to Adams is Floyd... I don't think our other DT's match his level once he gets conditioned and trained up... Not saying we have crappy DT's, not at allwe have a young full crop of very good DT's... I just feel that Adams is head-and-shoulders better above the rest.
I am not as certain as I once was about Denson... But I still feel like he has a good chance of flipping to this class. OL depth, nothing else behind it. If it turns out that we have room for 26-28 (like some people have said), then I think he is a take... he has to be. The LAST THING we need is for the last school we have to play every year get a mauling guard with a mean streak who loves to go up against big names on the DL.
I haven't heard anything recently about Ramsey or that DT from Southern Cal who has interest in the Gators. If Ramsey is a flip, it'll be closer to NSD when our class is pretty much locked done.
I don't think we'll get Marquez North or Alex Collins(won't flip from the U, imho). Demarcus Robinson, I could see flipping, but he has more schools on his list than the others.... Notre Dame has just a good of chance to flip him.
Elijah Daniel or Ebenezer Ogundeko?? We need a Buck still, it'll be one of these guys if any. Don't know which one... Daniel has been rumored to be soft on his commit but after his twitter hack, he reaffirmed he was with Clemson... So, I dunno. Ogundeko might be a back-up plan in case we can't flip Daniel. I am happy with either, tbh. Elijah has the edge though, by a lot, on being the better prospect.
27 is the number, overall.

Just read where OJ Howard is "definitely" returning for an official. I'd provide you the link but I can't figure it out on my phone. I'm not really sure what to think of it though. He said he was solid to alabamermammerjammer but really had a great time at the swamp. He's a freakishly gifted TE prospect I wouldn't mind snagging
