hasnt been very impressive so far...ramsey is a great looking player...but the best player in this game is corn elder..who reminds me a lot of chris rainey...ensworth has been clearly the better team so far

I just got home from the game. Wanted to take my 3 year old to his first football game, and I figured I might as well see a Gator commit in action. Perfect football weather up here!

Ensworth is the two time defending champion and is currently #1 in the state. That campus is like a college campus...so much money around there! Tim McGraw and Faith Hills's kids go to Ensworth, and I've heard they're usually at the games.

I didn't see the game but I saw highlights, and staver looked awful, Ramsey had a couple good plays but that's about it. Corn elder was definitely the star. He ran 40 times for I think 301 yards and a couple scores. And if I'm not mistaken I think elder is leaning toward Vanderbilt

We are, but we took Staver because of his size, his ceiling, but mostly because we're going to sign one every year. But we are not likely to get a great one every year.

I think we'll get Will Grier next year. Might take Jason Driskel as a preferred walk-on. I like Tyler Harris the best.

I read that Staver lost his starting job on his HS team. Is there any way we pull the offer? I'd hate to leave a big name out there for a player who is so much of a project.

Wow that's bad. The whole losing the job thing. Also since Ramsey is looking more and more USCw we might pull it.

This past weekend, Max Staver completed 11 of his 19 passes for 256 yards and five touchdowns. He also ran for 54 yards.

I know he didn't play well the week before against better competition, but it looks like he rebounded well. If he lost the starting job, was it for something else besides field production?

Read it on Tigerdroppings recruiting page. Now that re-read it, it was BS. There was no link, but after his performance a couple weeks ago, I thought it was plausible. Really good to hear he had a stellar game Friday, since he's the only qb we have..

Staver really ain't that bad.. His O line is terrible and the bad game he had was against one of the best teams in the state.. Ensworth. Staver and Ramsey are their team, if it wasn't for them their HS would probably be winless
