Visitors for South Carolina

Running list of visitors for South Carolina
October 16th, 2012 11:36pm
by Zach Abolverdi
This Saturday in The Swamp, a Top 10 showdown will take place for the second-straight home game.
That means another big recruiting weekend is on tap for Florida coach Will Muschamp.
The LSU matchup on Oct. 6 brought out some elite prospects and South Carolina will do the same. Five ESPN150 members are scheduled to attend the game as well as a Rivals100 recruit who is ranked 156th overall by ESPN.
The Gators are hosting four official visitors, including recent Michigan decommit David Dawson. He is the nation’s No. 1 offensive guard according to ESPN and named UF his new leader this past Sunday.
Here’s a running list of confirmed attendees that plan on coming. The names below are the most notable targets with offers from Florida. This blog will be updated every night with any new additions, cancellations or changes that occur. I’ll also have a preview story on Thursday night.

Damn that is a lot of recruits!!! Need another exciting game but topping the LSU game will be tough. Another last second blocked kick to win it would do the trick. But I would rather win it by two digits just so I can enjoy the game for a little while. It is just too much stress sometimes for me to handle. This will be one op those games where I lock the doors and put on my comfortable shoes. Do not have to worry about the phone either because anyone who is close to me knows not to call.

It sucks not seeing DeMarcus Walkers name on the list. Here's to hoping the list gets updated with his name being added.

Denzel Ware would be huge if we turned him.. Kid is gonna be a stud in college... And he has a much better head on his shoulders that Dillan Lawson.. It's gonna be tough pulling Him away from the Criminoles though.

My two Immokalee boys are going to be there on saturday, hopefully we can get JC to switch to us over fsu, that kid has got speed to burn and is electric on punt and kick off returns. De Ernest Johnson isn't a slouch either.

Anybody who was at the game care to comment on the atmosphere and impression it might have had on recruits?

he was a gator lean when he played his sophomore yr, even had poster printed like the cover of ncaa with him wearing gator gear. Hopefully he will see the light and switch. Would love to see at least one of our Immokalee guys go to the Gators.

Funny you should say that, I guess the 2014 Immokalee RB either committed or tried to commit... not sure, just got home and haven't had time to look around.

D'Ernest Johnson is electric, that kid is good, our team has been loaded with D1 guys for about two yrs. He is good up the middle, and has great speed. He really reminds me of Gillislee.

I would love to get them both, J.C. Jackson is one of the best wr's in our school history. Hope they both keep there grades up, so they can get into UF.

For those not at the game, it was electric again.
Our defense and special teams simply owned the game and the Swamp was rocking in old school fashion.
Another environment that we could be very very proud of.
Now we need to take care of business in Jacksonville and come back home to pad stats for three games before kicking the balls off REFsu and their entire fan base!!!!
