I think Ramsey and Ira, maybe not so much walker but Sherits injury might help us there as he sees an easy way to a roster spot

He'll get one eventually. We have no fears that 'if we don't offer him he'll commit somewhere else.' We'll take our time to flip Denson... I mean, he is already as good as flipped... all we have to do is offer. Believe me, it'll come.
At some point they will stop recruiting Tunsil, most likely when he commits somewhere else. I am HOPING our staff will take Trent Brown before that happens. No reason to keep this guy on the back-burner for Tunsil.... Brown will be able to come in and play right away anyways.
Sooooo, counting Humphries and Moore, our OT situation will improve with Brown... these guys + those who are not graduating this year will make a solid line. I am unsure if Garcia is going to play OT or OG.
We need more inside OL in this class imho. And if the goal was to take 5 OL this class, then we could easily, easily, take (OT)Trenton Brown, (OG) Octavius Jackson, (OG) Ira Denson, (OG) Derrick Dawson, (OC) Cameron Dillard.
That scenario completely stabilizes our line....
Halapio, Koehne and Harrison will more than likely be returning unless 1-2 of them project high in the draft... I am unsure at this point, I don't look at draft stuff until after the season anyhow.
That gives our coaches a full season with a bunch of Guards.... and with the 3 best inside guys we have leaving after next season, I think this would make for a good transition.

We don't have enough space on the roster for all of those O lineman... Unless we don't want to take any other players at other positions.
BTW, we just offered Miami commit Alex Collins, a speedy shifty RB. I thought we were set with our 2 current commits. Any idea why we are looking at him. He'd be good at Jet sweeps but so would Bailey... Are we deciding to never throw the ball again???

We have ruled out the pass, we are going to the vear and triple option. The only time our team will have the ball pass the line of scrimmage in the air will be on a punt.

Yes Ira is as good as flipped if they offer the big question is are they going to offer him. Right now he is behind Dawson Johnson and Brown.
It looks like Garcia will start at guard next year but he gives the staff some flexiblity so does Moore.
I am not too worried about the staff knows what its doing they are just not as high on Ira as some fans are. I am actually glad they didnt get sucked into some camp perfromances.

I don't see Walker flipping, I think I read where he tweeted about Kain Daub flipping to Alabama joining him there. I wish he would but I just don't get a good feeling with him.

I don't think we'll get Johnson.
Brown is a take whenever the staff wants to give up on Tunsil. Hopefully sooner than that.
Dawson is a Florida commit whenever he visits. I think he visits, but you never know. He could never come to Gainesville.
Denson is our NSD flip, maybe sooner than that. I think this because, for one, we need OL depth. For two, he is the best OL the Noles have and anytime we can take away the best of ANYTHING the Noles have is a WIN. And lastly, it's always been in the plans to take on 4-5 OL since we only got 2 last year... and the year before that. Moore and Garcia help, but we can't kid ourselves... as in, we have a lot of OL leaving in the next 2 years. Things look good now, but with some added depth from some SOLID guys, whether they had great summer camps or good seasons, our line could be great for years to come.
There was 2 things that I was pretty sure about when the cycle started. First, we would take 5 WR's. We have a young QB with very little targets. Taking on 5 WR's seemed like a lot a few months ago, but it's making perfect sense now. Secondly, we would take 5 OL. Now, I don't know if taking on Moore or Garcia changes that number to 4 or not. I am inclined to say that it does change the number to 4, but I am almost certain that if we have the extra scholly when it's all said and done, it's going to the OL.

I agree. Walker isn't flipping. I'd much rather see that scholly go to Montravius Adams anywhere, lol.
They just got Derrick Henry and now Daub is in the mix. Well, I say they can have em. To me, Walker seems like a primadonna. Henry tried to recruit Tunsil to UGA on his visit to The Swamp. And Daub tried to commit to us and we told him to wait, I heard he is kinda a headcase.
Although coveted and I would enjoy it to see any of those guys to commit to FL, I think we are dodging bullets.

I agree with you I think we get Dawson and thats would be one of the reasons we dont take Ira. They will want another outside guy.
A big reasons the fans want Ira is to stick it to the noles an if this was Urban or SOS I would say its going to happen. But this staff seems not to care about those type of things and just wants the best player available. If the staff was high on Ira they woud have already offered.
The WR thing it looks like Robinson or bust now. I could see us getting Coley at the last minute which would be epic (just a gut feeling).
Last thing if its Alex collins or Ira I am taking Alex nto saying we have a choice just that I would take him over Ira.

I guess this is where we differ. I'd rather see that scholly go to Denson. I was under the impression that Alvin Bailey owned this spot... but I guess the staff just wants another RB... period. I rather we didn't go after another RB since we already have Taylor and Lane. I wish we would shut down RB's right now and sell all of that early time to Sony Michel... There's no need to scare him off this early.
I am not worried though. I don't think Collins will commit to Florida. He is too far south and too decent of a RB to not go to Miami. That's just my opinion though.
All said and done, I think we'll sign Taylor and Lane and that'll be it.

This could be a special class. Especially if we continue to win.

Well, After Dante Fowler Jr last year and if we get Ira Denson this year, a large portion of our fanbase will be EXPECTING a FSUcks flip every year.
And I think, by the time we offer him, he will be the best player available. I know it will get to that. It does every year. We never close out the year busting at the seams... we always have room to take more than we do. And after the spots we didn't use last year and the talent still available now and depending on how many leave... I think there will be a good chance that he'll have a shot at joining the class. Whether or not that happens, we'll all just have to be patient and wait and see... hehe.

I dont think we get Collins but Collins > Bailey not saying I dont like Bailey (he might solve that PR issue next year). If Collins were smart he would go play for the Badgers. Sony is going to one of our rivals I think we will do real well with the RB IN 2014 Despite missing out on Sony.

When are you going to do the mock 2014 recruiting draft you talked about a month ago??
