As long as he doesn't watch UGA/SC highlights and see how much help they need at LT.

Seriously,
I can't see how he isn't already a verbal to the Gator staff.
He's supposedly a life long Gator fan, we are showing that our team is back on the rise, we prove every time that we play that our coaches include underclassmen in their starting rotations, and Georgia sucks.
What's more to know?
I sincerely hope he's just taking advantage of his opportunity to travel all over, see great games, get lots of attention, and fully experience recruiting before he chooses UF.

I feel the same way. I know recruits visit our site but I'm gonna say this anyways. Why wouldn't you want to come and EARN your spot against the best? If depth is an issue at all then I hope he doesn't choose us. Like you said, Muschamp has already proven the best players will play; there are no favorite players. If you are scared of competition, this aint the place for you!

Update 10/25/12 May as well close the book on Tunsil.
If the last 2 Gator home games didn't impress you, then you've already made up your mind and you're just wasting the Gator coaches time based on your comments below.
__________________________________________________ _________________
"But not all the big uglies were blown away on Saturday.
Five-star offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil (Lake City, Fla./Columbia) unofficially visited UF for the second time in three weeks, but he said the Gators’ last two wins at home haven’t helped their chances.
“Not really, Florida is still the same to me,” Tunsil said.
Georgia and Alabama remain the leaders and Tunsil admitted he just doesn’t have interest in the Gators. When asked if that will change should they beat those two teams this season, Tunsil replied, “We’ll see.”

If he wants to see, I hope he's buying his own ticket. This Tunsil masochism has gone on way too long. At this point, it's like we're asking for him to dump on our program every week.

Yeah, we get it. Courtship is over . . . good luck elsewhere.

After watching the video of Vernon Hargreaves speaking so articulately and unselfishly about his senior season and about being firmly committed to UF, it is hard to get too excited about a kid like Tunsil. Obviously his athletic ability would benefit us, but that's not all it is about. With his clearly stated and oft repeated lack of interest and enthusiasm over the Gators, it is not difficult to imagine that if we were to somehow get him that he would have to have a major attitude adjustment. Not sure we shouldn't just move on. Having said that, I trust the coaches.

This makes me wonder about this kid. I'm guessing our last coaching staff would have had a much easier time convincing him to come here because they would have been osculating his lower posterior the entire time. But I'm loving Muschamp and the way he's operating this program so I'm kind of feeling that this prima donna might be better off playing for the mutts.

I agree. Time for all to move on. It isn't happening.

I personally have a deep... very deep and abiding joy in watching those players who reject the University of Florida...
Only to be watching the Gators wind up trouncing the school they picked... and seeing Florida moving on to SEC Championships, better bowl games, etc.
That same thing happened to Marcus Stroud and others years ago...whose flippant attitudes caused them to pick another school.
History is a beautiful thing.
You can all sit back and watch what happens to those players who foolishly pick another school only to wind up at home for the holidays... or... over in Shreveport, Louisiana at the Weedwacker Bowl.
(That is EXACTLY what happened to Georgia, if I recall...)
Ever been to the Weedwacker Bowl?
I have.
It is a football field that has been converted from a rodeo stadium.
Honest.
And if you ever have had the opportunity to drive around Shreveport, Louisiana... well you really don't want to go there.
There is more to do and see in Starkville, Mississippi than there is in Shreveport.

Playing with fire. I'm hoping Will moves on. There are others! They may not be ranked but there are some better ones uncommitted. I've already told myself the kid wants attention and i hope our staff doesn't entertain the thought even. Let's just stop wasting time. Whether this team goes to the SEC or NC game this year they have already shown fans what given a little time this staff brings to the table. If you are a recruit and don't see that then by all means "go west young man"!

Gator 84__88....
Exactly!
Could not have said it better.
Don't get me wrong... would LOVE to see Laremy wind up in Gainesville.
He is from Lake City and heavens knows, we need more players from Columbia County.
That's like a player from Birmingham (45 miles away from Tuscaloosa) wanting to go to Florida.
But if he does wind up going to Alabammy or to the Poodles... it will be interesting to see how history plays out on this one.
After following college recruiting for over 35 years... I always enjoy seeing how high school players decisions have turned out.
Let's see where and HOW a player develops at a certain school over the coming years. Should be interesting...

We are still in his top 3. He's been honest with the coaching staff. Its really us that is making a big deal about this. He is not leading anyone on the Florida staff on, and then tells reporters his thoughts afterwards. The reporters and the fans need to calm down. If something changes between now and NSD, that forces him to be closer to home, we will then be in the driver seat because of how we've treated him thus far. So let the kid be an 18 year old kid.
In medicine we have a similar process called the match where you go on interviews, then you rank your top programs and they rank you. I was 26 years old when it happened, and I remember the confusion in making a decision then when I was older and possibly "more mature" than an 18 year old kid. I had 19 interviews. This kid has 40+ offers and we are still in his top 3. I ended up changing my mind at the last minute (the day my rank list was due) and picked UCLA over UT Southwestern and Michigan, all three were top 10 programs in my field, and UCLA was my third choice at the time
.
He can do the same thing at the last minute as well, so don't count him out.

What happened that makes him so in love with the other 2 schools?

Oh yeah?
Well, we put him on bun warming plate
Put a towel on him
And left it behind the dumpster to help some homeless people.

I'm tired of Tunsil. If he wants to be a gator then fine, but don't waste our time visiting if you aren't even trying to be convinced by Florida. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

He's a silent and just wants everyone to be surprised when he does this really cool thing to reveal his college choice...see he's going to have two hats in front of him, Alabama and Georgia. Then at the moment of his decision he's going to reach for each hat, hesitate, and in a moment of pure magic, reach under the table to pull out a Gator hat and declare for us!!!
Amazing, I know, but this shocker requires absolute confusion until NSD....shhhhhhh!!!

For all we know he could have committed to UF already and just told champ not to tell anyone, meanwhile he's a hot commodity and wants to do exactly that ^

So he has not been impressed with any of the Gator games? Then I call bs on the comment. If he says he was not impressed by either the LSU game or the USC game then he is a liar. I say that because if a person has just an inkling of football knowledge, he could not help but to be impressed. Something does not jive with his comments at all. What recruit would say he was not impressed with a visit in that kind of atmosphere? Something's up!

Seems like any other Bama fan, saying that bama would have beaten our opponents by 80+
Arrogance at its finest
