BGSU will return 20 starters, including seven on offense, 10 on defense and three on special teams. Of those 20 returning starters, only four are seniors.
Anthon Samuel finished third in the country in rushing yards/game among freshmen at 93.8 and was named MAC Freshman of the Year.
Anthon Samuel (Doak Walker), Chris Jones (Rotary Lombardi), Dwayne Woods (Rotary Lombardi and Butkus), Brian Schmiedebusch (Ray Guy) and Alex Bayer (John Mackey) were all named to preseason watch lists.
