why because he has a good SPARK? Other kids were higher on the board coaches are still recruiting some people at LB and BUCK I dont think it is some huge need we have to fill though

Not a huge need makes sense, but I don't see a lot of uncommitted quality players at those positions. Ogundeko is the only one that we seem to have any chance with.

Gators have a good shot at Ogundeko still working on Anzalone they could probably flip Stevenson from FSU if they wanted him.

Then they should.
from Scout:
"Stevenson is an explosive linebacker recruit that can play inside or outside. He's sound and physical. He can play in space or in traffic. Stevenson has the speed to chase plays down and play sideline to sideline. He's also pretty adept at shedding blocks inside and finding the ball. Stevenson can also fill the hole nicely and make big plays behind the line of scrimmage. He does a nice job of read, recognition and then reacting quickly."
Why wait? IF they could flip him it would hurt fsu, should help us.

he waited for a Florida offer for awhile and it never came so he committed to FSU. Florida passed on a lot of good players this year. Many will play for our rivals.

you can get a good idea of who our remaining targets are from the following sources
---AS's posts
---the Rivals, ESPB, 247 database in regard to UF offers. Simply look at who we have extended offers to and for the most part the players who are still uncommitted are targets somewhere on our board. There are a fair number of recruits committed to other schools who we are still actively recruiting so include them as well
---as to the likelihood of UF getting commits from uncommitted recruits I've found 247's database pretty good in assessing likelihood of recruits committing to the various schools(including UF0. One caveat is that recruits who decommitted from UF are for the most part listed by 247 as 'highly interested in UF) though that may or may not be accurate. They are simply doing that because the recruits really haven't given any clue of who they are 9interested in now that they decommitted from UF.
least accurate sources for info as to recruits likely to commit to one school or another
---Rivals articles...the articles tend to be very biased for one school or another depending on who the writer happens to be
---ESPN website and recruiting show on TV. They provide the best assessment in regards to talent level of recruits(rankings) as well as strengths and weaknesses of the recruits. But their info is minimal ass to the likelihood of committing to one school or another. Though if anything, ESPN is tending to be biased right now in favor of USCw, Bama, Mich in their recruiting commentary
---anything from Whorecramps, especially Dorothy
---the national recruiting message boards. there may be good stuff posted but it is pretty much buried beneath homeristic wishful thinking

I was looking primarily at 247's list, but also Rivals and espn, and there just aren't many uncommitted OLBs and DEs. Ogundeko and Mitchell are the only ones that stand out and Mitchell appears to be leaning towards OSU now. I'd take both those guys in a heartbeat.

I think the staff is happy with who they decided to take. You cant take them all. It works both way though Georgia passed on Riles so we got him. Florida passed on Reggie Davis so Georgia got him.

Saw a rumor on Nuttin' but Net that the Mitchells might be moving to Winter Park. Maybe that's how the interest in UF started. Looks like Billy will be gunning hard after the little brother for the class of 2015. He's a consensus top 10 prospect.

OT update
Former Nebraska OT Tyre Moore has Florida and FSU ahead of Nebraska now. He really enjoyed his visit to the swamp last week. He will visit FSU the weknd they play Wake.
Right now its only a matter of time before JUCO OL Trenton Brown decommits from Georgia. Brown also really enjoyed his visit to the swamp last weekend.
OT Roderick Johnson who decommitted from Florida is still considering joining the Gators. The teams that are standing out to him Auburn,West Virginia , Florida State and Florida.

Is Jessamen Dunker entrenched at G or can he play OT? Any two of RJ, Ira Denson, T Brown seems like a decent OL class.

He is G why would we move him to OT? Moore might be the best linemen out of the bunch he played as a freshmen at Nebraska. He was not going to start this year but was going to play a lot. I really like how our O line is going to look next year.

Because he was an OT in HS and OT is where we might need the most help after our SRs leave.

He is not going to play OT at Florida. We will have enough tackles next year

You have said that Shaq Wiggins is a type of player that would be great for our team. Do you feel the same about Ramsey?

Ramsey is CWM dream at CB good size kid with very long arms. He is probably higher on the board than Shaq. Jalen is a great kid I just like Shaq's personality a lot.
