There are plenty of examples of players going to different locations than their siblings. I am going to get excited. I'm not saying he is all Gator or anything, but getting a visit coupled by the quote I read is a nice start.

VHIII's dad doesn't have a job right now. Robert makes these type of quotes all the time with different schools. I am not one of those people that says "the staff shouldn't let him visit" because they def should roll out the red carpet but I dont think Denzel or Mama Nkemdiche will allow Robert to go to school at Florida.

Didnt espn just do an article on two brothers playing each other tonight at 8. Siblings dont gurantee where a kid will end up. But to your point his momma has been hell bent on the two staying close.
It would be nice to have him but it is still sort of a pipe dream. Sometimes, I just think this could signs with the school that gets him out of college and to the nfl the fastest. He just doesnt seem to care about all the other stuff. It looks like the recruiting game is wearing him out.

VH III's dad did have a job when VH III committed. As for Robert, if he really visits us, that is huge. Why would they say no to Florida? What would be their rationale?

His dad worked at USF and his parent fully sported any decision he made plus his sister goes to UF.
Robert's family on the other hand want him at Ole Miss. They would def say no to Florida. His mom lives in Nigeria when she comes over to America she wants to be able to see her sons at one time. She has probably never talked to our staff Robert barley has.

Well, what if Robert doesn't want to go to Ole Miss? Perhaps his parents would support him making his own decision? He is, afterall, the No. 1 defensive player in the country. Perhaps he can defend his stance on why he would like to attend a different college than his brother.

I highly doubt his mom would support such a decision. His head coach could sign the letter of intent since he has guardianship over Robert but I doubt it happens. But if you want to get excited about Robert taking a visit thats on you. It would be one of the most shocking pulls in the history of recruiting.

But it would be totally out of the blue for him to commit to the Gators this late in the process - don't you think?

It certainly would be. But how aware were we of the Floyd and Easley commitments when they took place. Those were kind of out of nowhere.

It was his brother who committed for him. I would not be surprised if he is uncomfortable with that notion regardless of how much he may love and respect his brother and his mother.

Work him KT. It doesn't hurt to try!

Another Gators recruit, Glades Day (Belle Glade, Fla.) running back Kelvin Taylor, isn't sure he can push any of the Under Armour undecideds the Gators' way. Not that he isn't trying.
"If they're going to Florida, they're going to go," Taylor said. "The only one I am working on is No. 1 (defensive end Robert Nkemdiche from Grayson High in Loganville, Ga.). That's the man right there. That's the only one I'm trying to persuade, but he probably already has his mind made up."

This recruiting cycle is crazy, losing Brantley but still might retain him. However, if what's to come, Washington just posted a pick on tweeter of Ramsey, Robinson and him clowning around and said "Gator boy(s)". Don't know what that means, but if we could flip Ramsey and I think we get Robinson, our DB class would be set for the next 3-4 years. Shut down corners with Ramsey and VHIII and body rocking safeties in Neal, Harris and Washington, to include Poole. Oh my god......Good to be a Gator.

Washington has been one of the best recruiter I have ever seen! He has a future as a college coach one day just for his recruiting ability alone. I know he was big in swinging Fullwood our way and now maybe Ramsey and D. walker. Who else has he swung to us?
