Just read a story in Swamp Gas that UNC could possibly have more violations and possible sanctions involving athletics. Does anybody think this will affect North's decision? Or is he still leaning UT, UNC, UF?

Staff made a visit to his school today. We are not getting North Florida is behind Clemson UNC and Tennessee.

His dad doesn't like the lack of passing in the offense this year.

He isn't alone. There are good reasons for it, but it's a tough sell for now. I don't know how much we're going to throw the ball even when we become good at it. Not many WRs choose programs based on how many chances they get to block for running backs.

Florida probably has the best WR class in the country right now.

LB Matt Rolin is on campus for a visit today. The staff made a visit to his house earlier in the week. At least one of Matt's parents went to South Carolina where he is commited to as of now.

I just looked him up on ESPN and he has a very impressive offer list. What are our chances?

No clue, I would say not good but the coaches got him on campus which means we do have a chance. If I remember correcty his mom went to South Carolina and so did her father. When Florida offerd he never made a trip to Gainesville because we already had 4LB commits.

It was Josh Evans... he and Bostic came on a blitz, the RB picked up Bostic and Evans made the hit forcing the terrible jump ball.

One thing to remember is after Trenton Brown commits all of our needs will be met. For the last 4 spots the coaches can focus on just bringing in really good football players.
More names will continue to pop up or in some cases pop back up like Mackensie Alexander

It was said Trenton Brown was going to commit this week and I haven't heard anything about it. Any updates as to when he plans on announcing?

AZ, what do you hear about, if anything, or expect from Montravious Adams? Would be a sick get.

What's your rationale for that AZ. I can see that a couple services differ on Alvin Bailey's rank- Rivals lists him as #13 WR, Scout still ranks him 81st. Chris Thompson still hasn't been recognized by the services but I think we all agree he could really surprise. Marqui Hawkins has a respectable rank in the 40s by rivals/scout. But absent Ahmad Fullwood our WRs could be considered average by outsiders so I'm just wondering what you see in these guys that makes you feel so good.
I don't watch and evaluate film so don't have much of an idea about their capabilities.

I have always thought he would end up and Clemson or Auburn. A lot of people think Georgia has a good shot.

Well for one Florida has 4 commits so its a nice size WR class. I think even with those rankings we would be in everybody’s top 5 WR class. I think Rivals said Florida has the best WR class, ESPN would probably agree. I don’t like the WR's in the 2013 class as a whole this year.
Fulwood could turn into Alshon Jeffries in a few years. Hawkins could end up being a big time player I like his skill set. I dont know where Bailey fits in the system. Thompson needs some work but he does get vertical very quickly.
I thought the staff should have held off on either the Bailey or Thompson offer to see if a later bloomer emerged, which would have been great right now because we could push and take James Clark commit right now. I think he is better than both Bailey and Thompson by a significant amount.

Well AZ, as you said, with the expected pick up of Brown in a couple of weeks we would have all of our NEEDS filled.
After that we take good football players who might need a little time before being expected to contribute such as Ogundeko and Daniels who would need to get stronger before competing for playing time on our D-Line.
And go after prospects who decomitted from other programs who could help with immediate depth. Johnson at LB could come in an earn some PT with Bostic leaving and Jelani becoming somewhat injury plagued. As well as RB Collins, even though we already have 2 studs coming in at RB, imagine having a 3rd. Losing Gillislee hurts, so lets get some stud replacements the way Bama does (multiple recruits at a time). And getting the WR Clark would add another possible playmaker to what we all must admit is right now a somewhat stagnant offense.
Can't wait to see who we get at the end of this class.

Looks like we do, but with Treadwell, North, Coley, Quick and Foster still in play, there's a lot of talent in the undecided column. I don't think UF will get any of those players, but nor is it likely anyone else gets more than one of them.
If we're adding one more WR, I'd take Clark and call it a day.
Regarding other talent, my remaining wish list includes Trent Brown, Alex Collins, M. Adams, Trey Johnson and Elijah Daniel.
