How to send Youtube videos by Email?

How does one send a Youtube video via email? I tried doing a "copy and paste" of a video but the link was inoperable in the body of the email (clicked on the link and nothing happened) Thanks to anyone who can help..

When you say you did a cut and paste of the video did you cut and past the URL or the actual video?

My experience is that the URL works just fine. Below is a slightly hacked up URL to a YouTube video that works find when pasted into a mail message or message post here. I changed the period between Youtube and com to have spaces on each side of the period to avoid having the software parse the link and actually show the video in this response..

The first URL, once the extra 2 space characters are removed will show a video of Brad Paisley singing Waiting on a Woman with Andy Griffith in a supporting role. The second URL is the same video but skipping over the first minute and 7 seconds which I find very boring – but that’s just me. Good old YouTube now jams a video commercial if you use the #t (for time) option so it is a bit annoying to skip ahead but it still saves the boring part as long as it is shorter than the

There's a "share" button on a youtube video that directs you to an "email link" hope that helps. Also, you should also check if the recipient has working filters that block urls/media files. I know a guy who only insists in recieving text emails and automatically blocks people that send pictures/media files.
