One has to imagine that defensive recruiters for West Virginia, Clemson and Baylor were going nuts trying to lock up some of the players on the field that night.

No question that he's the read deal. Hope he can put on some weight. Really surprised by his running ability. Actually reminds me of Driskel in his running style. Wish the clips were shot closer to the action. It's hard to zero in on his mechanics. Seems to throw off his back foot in some situations, otherwise, he looks very very quick with his delivery.

1) Starter will be a SR or will blow up as a JR and will be an open competition. Head Coach will be sure you have a GREAT OLine and lights out D.
2) Probation and in the ACC
3) No coach
4) No coach and ACC
5) Fun to watch, will be crushed when you play a real D and you will always have to score 60.

He is a really good athlete not as fast as Driskel but he can dunk a basketball.
He does tend to lean back when he throw but I heard he threw great at the private workout for Pease and CWM. He has always thrown that way back to even middle school.
Grier's father is his head coach so he has been schooled well. Much more natural QB than Jeff IMO.

Will Grier
I will be filming with Will all day Monday. We (FBU) are shooting our QB portion of our instructional videos with Will, Brian Brohm (Pro), Connor Curry (Youth All-American QB) and our FBU/NFL QB coach Chris Miller. If you are a GATOR in the Nashville, TN area and would like to stop by the filming set and hang for a while during the filming, you can send me a message.

Agree, Grier looks good(great) against HS competition but he's going to need to add 30lbs to have a chance at being durable enough to play in the SEC and that's going to be hard to do. Scout lists him at 6'3, 185, so he's probably 6'1ish 180(maybe). Jeff Driskel IS 6'4 235+ and his size is probably the reason he's been able to handle the beatings he's taken this season.

Give me a break. Johnny Football is listed at 6-1 and 200 and I think they are being generous. He has run for nearly 1200 yards (carrying 18 times for 92 yards against Bama) and, unlike Driskel, has not missed any games with injuries.
As for Grier, even if you want to make conservative assumptions about his current height and weight, I see no reason why the kid couldn't put on 20-30 pounds between now and his first game as a Gator--if that is what he and the coaches want.

If anyone recalls, Tebow was 217 in High School, so young men naturally add weight and 5,000 calories a day + Dillmen = he will be 210lb when he takes his first snap in a UF game and 225lb before he takes his last.
