It was my understanding that Driskel was a four star...despite being the top rated qb in the class.
Regardless, the tape of WG's highlights is impressive enough for me regardless of star rating.

Watch his highlight video again and tell us how many stars you think he deserves.

My point is that if we are all in agreement that the kid is a baller, why are we waiting to rank him as a five star?

He is definitely a six star recruit.

Yup, I posted it like 15 posts up. He was the number 1 QB but not a 5 star. "Just" a 4 star

Johnny Manziel was a three star recruit, and he just one the Heisman as a redshirt Freshman. Would you five star lovers take him as our QB? Who cares about stars? WG looks like a player!

We don't care if he's 5* or 4* - just watch his highlight video and you'll see why we don't care about his rating.

Thanks...I guess the rating was different depending on which site you looked at. My understanding was Jacoby was a 4* while Jeff was a 5*

Driskel and Brissett were both 4* on Rivals, Scout had Driskel at 5* and Brissett at 4* and ESPN had Driskel at 5* and Brissett at 3*. So yes, the rankings do vary by who you look at.

No, only Avatar.

While I thought there would be more pandemonium. This kid is already a hell of a qb and still has another year of hs. He is good enough that it will improve our 2014 class just because we will get some commits because of him. And there is no doubt in my mind that he will be a 5* next season.

I'm sure they'll find some crappy QB out of California that they think is better...

Avatar is forever negative, just act like he doesn't exist. His opinion has never been worth much, ever.

Good point, I will change my ranking of him to a 5 star. We should all rate Grier as a five star!
What I don't understand is why rivals, scout, espn rankings were not updated when I changed my rating?
Gator Avatar at his best..
