The first place team got a trophy and no one else did.

Playing baseball or whatever sport was in season all day with your neighborhood buds.

Playing war with Mom's tomato stakes or whatever you could find that looked like a gun.

ALL DAY. I hardly even watched sports as a kid because we would watch 15 minutes of the Gator game and then we would be outside getting our own game together
