Liked it better than the 2nd one. Most of these movies are standalone, but lots of references to the Avengers movie in this one

Yeah, There was and the little kid was hilarious. I guess they were building up Avengers 2.

Haven't seen this yet but the new Thor looks awesome. I am a tiny bit concerned with the change of directors and my growing distaste for Gwyneth Paltrow.

I thought it was bad, really bad in fact. To me, easily the worst of the Avenger character movies except for the first Hulk.
To me, it felt like Shane Black took an existing action script he wrote in the 90's and added in Iron Man.

This is what I am worried about. Thing is I really like some of his earlier stuff. Last Boy Scout was awesome and so were the Lethal Weapons though each sequel did get more ridiculous. He even wrote Monster Squad which was one of my faves as a kid. But he hasn't done anything since Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and I was not a huge fan of that.

I thought it was excellent, it's almost as if directors are finally grasping the idea that comic books can be treated as reality. Anti-Joel Schumacher, so to speak.

If JOHNNY DEPP can do for the LONE RANGER what he did for one of the most beloved of all the children's movies..WILLIE WONKA..
the LONE RANGER will not even make back the money for expenses.
