He's good as gone, IMO. It's just too tough to compete against cash money.

Coley is a much better prospect. In my opinion we have bigger fish to fry.

WR's just run windsprints if you can't protect your QB, give me Tunsil, then a playmaker.

Coley isn't on the best track to make it. Its hardly over with Robinson. Don't worry quite yet

Deep Threat, if you had to say today if you think Robinson will be in this class come NSD what would your answer be?
And that really sucks that Coley is having trouble qualifying. I think dude is an absolute STUD!!!

Uh oh, just saw article on twitter that says Clemson is "pulling away" with Demarcus Robinson. Guess its down to Coley if he can get his academics straight, and Chris Thompson. Don't think we have a real chance with Demorea Stringfellow or Marquez North.

He named them his leader but it was after a visit so it could be just a visit high. If he comes for fnl I think we'll be right back in it.

I guess it boils down to trusting the coaches to make the smart decisions.
Overall, last year's recruits were pretty good, except on the OLine and DLine, and, with any luck, this year's Frosh will be able to make some contributions even in their first year.
It is always a debate over what is "more" important at any given time or any given position. Only time can tell. However, clearly, your offense goes nowhere without a solid OLine in front of it, and, your defense stops no one without a solid DLine in the trenches.

Get him in at FNL next month, and show him an offense at UF that utilizes the WR position the same way that Clemson did last year, and heck i think there is no way Clemson beats us for him. Just my 2 cents.

Good news! He has confirmed that he will be at FNL next month. I think its 50/50 whether we get him.

As soon as I made this thread I thought maybe Adams can fill this role. And the more I watch his grainy highlight film the more I live him. The kid is going to be a play maker if he can keep his speed once he gains weight.

Coley is a plus one. Thompson kid from gainesville is ahead of Bailey and Davis. If Thompson shows out at FNL, he is in.

Fullwood, Adams, Robinson would be strong. Tell me about Thompson, he shows up as a NR WR. What does the staff like about him?

From what I understand hes in our backyard and hes 5'11 to 6'0 and 170lbs. Hes been showin out in what few camps hes been at and burned nick washington and georgias top cb prospect in the process. Probably ranked low because he hasnt been to many camps and his recruitment is likely to heat up within the next few months.

WTF the OL and DL recruits were great. We got the number 1 OT and a top 5 OG on offense. Got Fowler and Bullard on defense and some good DT and DE's to go along with those two.

He's super fast too. Has the potential to be a 6'1" 190 guy that can burnnnnn. I've never praised a 2 star kid so much but I'm almost 100% sure that he will be bumped up to at least a 3

Whoever the next coach is at Clemson is going to inherit a lot of talent. I will be shocked if they don't get snagged for some kind of improprieties within the next few years. Their recruiting run just doesn't pass the sniff test.
