Default Hooking up 3 monitors (question)

I've got a 27 inch monitor on my PC and am hooking up 2 additional 24 inch monitors. Does anyone know the best way to add 2 extra monitors?

What graphics card do you have and are you trying to span or clone the screen?

You'll need an ATI card that supports Eyefinity, an SLI Setup, or one of the new GTX 680s if you want to run more than two monitors. On the NVidia setup, they will all have to run at the same resolution and scan rate.

I'm not sure about the graphics card---I'll have to check. It's an HP desktop (about 1 year old). I'm trying to have multiple screens to use Excel, internet (2 windows open) and a word document for writing a book.

check on the back of your graphics card. If it has more than one VGA output, then it's capable to support multiple monitor options.
IF you don't want to upgrade your graphics card, you can just get a very wide monitor. Think 32 inches.
