I remember when we won a tough recruiting battle against FSU for Fred and he was the difference maker to get us over the top for that first National Title. Thanks Fred for all you did for UF and you make us proud to say you are a Gator!

I like Collins' explosiveness and top end speed. As we saw this year, it helps to have more than one threat at running back. We didn't rotate backs the way we have in the past. Mack Brown came in to run the same offense we ran with Gillislee. Jones came in to run a different package, toss sweeps and some screen passes, anything to get him in space. I'd like two or three guys who can run our base package and a couple of specialists. You don't know who those guys are until you get them on campus, but you keep recruiting until you consistently have seven good scholarship running backs on your roster and three with the potential to gash a solid SEC opponent on any given day without changing your playbook.

RB Kelvin Taylor is an Early Enrollment at UF according to this article. But elsewhere I've seen it mentioned that he will enroll in the Summer.

If something had happened to delay his enrollment, we'd have heard about it by now. Kelvin is enrolled and attending classes at UF now.

With Signing Day on the doorstep we have spent the last couple of days going through several pages on the AR forum locating the Commit threads on our soon-to-be Gators. And to bring them back up since many probably have questions and maybe info on these guys that would be of interest to everyone. It's been time consuming but interesting in a lot of ways. One thing I certainly have noticed is that RB Kelvin Taylor seems to have attracted the most interest and attention. He has a along Commit thread and several others that will be merged with this one. We want it to be easy when someone is curious about these guys to find the thread on them.

One thing I also did was to post the link of each guy's commit thread in the 2013 Gator Commitment thread which is stickyed to the top of Page 1. Wish I had thought of that a long time ago! It would have made it faster and easier for me to locate them!

Kelvin Taylor, an early enrollee, will wear a #21 jersey. Which was his Dad's (Fred Taylor's) number when he was at UF.

Watching the first clip, Kelvin takes the pitch on a toss sweep at the :47 mark and takes it to the house. That's the first clip I've ever seen where he runs exactly like his dad. The rest of the time, he runs like Emmitt.
