Honestly I prefer Hawkins even though Adams is pretty highly rated. Hawkins has a better build and is more physical imo

Adams was reportedly he best WR at the Team USA camp last week...(#2 impact guy regardless of position) Marqi hasnt played a lot of WR yet, so im sure he's pretty "raw".
"You have to love any player that practices with a game mentality, and that's Adams. He came to play every day, didn't get too high after big plays and just went after his business. He's an ideal college X, somebody who can annihilate man-to-man coverage, and always seems to find the soft spot against the zone. Adams isn't really elite at anything, but he's probably an A- in every category. He's fast, has nice size, is a good route-runner, bursts out of his breaks, and is a threat on 50-50 balls. He's the top skill position player here."

Nice! I was thinking that Hawkins was better and more physical like deep, but now I don't know what to think. They are both great. Like I said in an earlier post, with these 3 guys I'm not sure we need another wide out in this class.

I have serious doubts about Fulwood being the best WR in this class.

gatorfan12, i would be set with these three receivers too, but if Coley or Robinson want to be in this class then you take them without hesitation. (that is of course if Coley can make grades).

I like Adams a lot. I have some questions about Fulwoods quickness and speed. I think we will all be happy if he is another Dallas Baker

One of the Michigan commits said that Dawson has been talking about decommitting. Good for us. Said he is camping at Florida July 27.

Good news but I'm still not too optimistic with him just because of the distance

his dad died not long ago...sometimes kids move away from the area when there are negative thoughts attached to the area and an opportunity for a big life change presents itself.
plus Cameron Dillard will stay in his ear.

Well, there's our answer to the numbers. With 5 spots left I would say...
19. / 20. 2 of Ogundeko, Sherit, and Walker
21. 1 wide out hopefully D Rob since he's coming to FNL
22. Marcel Harris
23. VH3
24. Hopefully Tunsil, maybe a plan B guy
25. Another line man (Crowder, Dawson)
That still puts us over our new 23 limit but the chances of defections from our current class is also likely.
|
IMO, if we only got Walker & Tunsil the class could/would be complete. Anything on top of those two is gravy (and, of course, we are going to get some others....but as far as our "needs", getting another DL & OL is huge).

I'm not saying that any of these guys are in the bag buy a long shot, but if they all want UF who makes it in?
Ogundeko
Sherit
D Walker
Obviously Walker is the highest rated and we really want him, so hes in. But do we want Ogundeko or Sherit, both? I just find both unrealistic with the numbers and other needs we have this year.
Of course recruiting is crazy but I'll guess. Ogundeko is going to pick us this month and we finish off the d line class with Walker on August 3rd, his decision date. Pretty good defensive line haul. Then Sherit follows his boy Travis Johnson to Miami. Honestly, I think that would seriously hurt our chances with VIII. It then makes USF the favorite for VHIII, Miami in second, and then us.

I do think we get Ogundeko. But if we don't, its not bad. Saves a spot for Sherit. It could come back to bite us though if Sherit doesn't pick us.
