I'm drinking a Weyerbacher Quad. 11%abv but hides it well. A little sweeter than I like my quads but not a bad beer.

It's $20 a bomber. Good beer but not worth that IMO.

20 is steep. I'll take your word if you've had it. I love the regular big sound though.

I loved the BA Big Sound! Bought enough to last me and for a few trade partners who have hooked it up. Enjoying a Big Sky Scape Goat Pale after landing in Montana tonight.

Around what time did you get yours?

The day it came out. I also had some on tap last night in the tasting room.
It's a solid beer. I just don't like $20 for a bomber. At that price point I can't justify buying a bunch. I'd likely do it once, but I prefer $7 for a pint of fresh draft. I mean, I can get roughly 3 pints for the price of one bomber, almost twice the beer. I suppose if I couldn't get the draft, maybe my opinion would be a little different.

Picked up a four pack of Sierra Nevada Hoptimum tonight. On my third one. Perfectly balanced, fresh hop, high alcohol IIPA. They use what they call "Whole Cone" hops, which sounds like they just drop the hop buds in the boiler. Didn't see any residue, but I have had some wet-hopped iPAs lately that had little hop particles. I kind of like that, mainly because I know that hops are first cousins to cannabis. Can't wait to taste what will soon be available within the states of Washington and especially Colorado. CO has far more developed legislation around the use and dosage of cannabis in medical and non-medical usage.

Last Friday, I had some of the Humidor series Peach IPA fresh on draft at the Tasting Room. I'm actually not a fan of peaches, but this beer was unbelievable. The peach balances well with the cedar and citrus flavors of the typical CC IPA's. It's one of the best IPA's I have ever had. If you ever have a chance to try some, do it.

All over the place style-wise tonight
The new bold city Roxy Imperial cream ale, a solid 10% easy drinking cream.
Followed by Russian river temptation, a nice sour funky blonde.
Now it's kona pipeline porter. Very coffee heavy.

Just acquired some Alchemist Heady Topper and Maine Lunch, among others tonight in a trade. It's going to be a great Holiday weekend!

I had a heady a few weeks ago but I got it from someone and I think it was a little old. It was good but nowhere near the hype, so I think it wasn't fresh. Let me know how yours is. I may be heading to Vermont in February.

Mine is dated canned on 12/4/12, so it is pretty damn fresh. I'll let you know.
I stayed on some 75 Min tonight, I didn't feel like waiting for everything to chill. I'm going to indulge on the new beers tomorrow and beyond.
I'm actually more excited for the Lunch. I've had HT once before, but Lunch I have never tried. I've heard great things though. There's a couple other goodies he stashed in I am eager to try as well. Like I said, it will be a fun Holiday break.
Cheers.

I had my second of these Sunday night. Definitely better than the other one I had, must of been way fresher. Amazing beer but #3 rating on beer advocate? Not in my book. I'll take fresh zombie dust every-time.
Also had a little pour of westy 12 on Xmas. Damn good Quad that changed dramatically as it warmed. #1/2 beer in the world? Sure if u love that style.
All in all a great few days of beer drinking. And I got a four pack of founders breakfast stout for Xmas. Rock on!
