I can't be bothered with quests right now, I'm exploring. And I can decapitate now, awesome. Found a Dwemer ruin, but was disappointed that it was only a bridge and a small altar, so I couldn't go inside and get my ass handed to me by a Steam Centurion. I've been looking for dragon shout words and have found quite a few, I have over 5 now I think. I just found the slow-mo one.

Words don't matter without the souls of dragons.
Its like having a bunch of guns but no bullets.

I know, but I'll have a ton of words saved for when I finally start absorbing their souls. That's what I'm doing right now, looking for shout words so when I start the main quest I'll have words ready for after I take their souls.
Also, eric do you know where to start the Civil War questline? I want to start that one pretty soon, I know you can join either the Stormcloaks or Imperial Army, I'm playing as an Imperial as I always do in TES games, so I'd prefer to join the Imperial Army, unless playing as the Stormcloaks gives you some crazy good benefits.
And btw, giants are retarded. One tried to fight me and I just stood on a rock and pelted his dumb ass with fire, he just stood there and looked at me like he was lost while I burned him and then when I got his health low I jumped off and stabbed him a few times. So if you ever get into a fight with one, just stand on a moderately sized rock and shoot fire or something at it, because they're dumb and don't know wtf to do for some reason when you stand on a rock

I really think you are shooting yourself in the foot. Dragon encounters are amazing and I love the fact they can always happen (even in towns). Furthermore there are dungeon puzzles which can only be solved with shouts.
As for the civil war, it is in solitude. The in game map marks its location though...

Hmm, I might get the quest started then, just enough to where dragons will start appearing, then I'll go on doing my normal stuff.
I also love how all of the dungeons, forts, caves and ruins feel unique. Each one feels like a new place, in Oblivion after you'd seen one cave, dungeon or whatever, you've seen all of them. In Skyrim everything is like new.

Man i tried to get help from a friend to get up to high hroathguard or w/e its called(up in the mountains) and his instructions sucked.
I was able to google an answer and found a very direct route.
For not being a fan of oblivion, i love Skyrim.

If you pre-ordered then you got a physical map, the physical map actually shows the most direct routes between locations.

Yes, the map is in the case. High quality material, too.
There are quite a few red X's on the map. Haven't checked any of them out yet.

2 bucks a day adds up really quick which is why I ended up going with Gamefly. I mean even if you were able to plow through the game in a week (which I doubt I could) that is 14 bucks. I picked up 2 months of Gamefly for 16 bucks so much cheaper in the long run.

Spellcasters are a major pain in my ass in this game. Nothing like trucking through a bunch of scrubs who think they can go toe to toe with me with my dual swords and then coming to some puss spellcaster who shoots ice at me and flees whenever I get close to them.
Conjurers and Necromancers are the most annoying, especially conjurers, they're weak as hell but it gets aggravating when they shoot me with their fire and then I get close and they summon on Atronoach which dishes out damage like crazy.
I did get the werewolf disease though, I went into a vampire infested cave knowing I couldn't catch vampirism and proceeded to slaughter all of those vampers as a wolfie. Werewolfs don't play no games.

Elder scrolls is not a good redbox game. You either have to rush through it or pay more than gamefly. Plus with gamefly... oops I lost it in the mail.
On master this game is hard as hell. The mobs are always easy, but the dungeon bosses are just ten times as difficult. Werewolf is not worth it because you can dish out enough damage before you get killed and you can't open your heal menu. But this is good because it emphasizes the new combat system which is more strategy based. Soloed a dragon today, on master took about 30 minutes and involved a lot of running, hiding and using my dragon shouts smart.
I honestly have never been this happy with a video game.

Unfortunately it is the only reasonable option. There are no blockbusters in Gainesville, Redbox just doesn't work for games you want more than a week, and I'm not a fan of buying games that aren't like Call of Duty/Madden with infinite replay.

I tried Gamefly for a while when Arkham Asylum came out and I hated it. It takes forever to get the games you want and unless you plan on going through a bunch of crappy games that you dont care about its really not worth the price.
For me it has always just been better to find deals or trade in games at Gamestop.

The best/cheapest way to sell and buy games is ultimately on Ebay or Craigslist.
I've got games that were going for $44-$54 at Gamestop for $20-$25.
You could probably pick up Skyrim for around $40 off Ebay right now i bet.
