That map is too damn big and I can't find the edit button to remove it because it takes up too much space and the edit button doesn't appear...

I'm excited. From the look and sound, this is going to be a huge area, most likely larger than any of the previous version.
FWIW, I still think Vice City was the best. It was also the first time for motorcycles so that might have played a part but the setting, vibe and 80s feel was so unique. Loved it.

By the way, anyone think the guy in the trailer is Claude? He was the main chracter in GTA III.
A lot of people think it's Tommy Vercetti, but I don't think it is at all.
For one, Tommy was in his 30s in Vice City, so in V he'd be in his 60s, and who'd want to play as an old man who'd probably dislocate his shoulder firing a magnum? Secondly, in the trailer they said they moved there for the weather, Tommy was in Vice City which was based off Miami, why would you move to Cali where it's the exact same?
I think it is Claude, he'd be in his early 40s in GTA V, in San Andreas he was in his early 20s, in GTA III his early 30s, so he'd be under 45 in GTA V.

There is no way that was Vercetti.

Why can't it just be a new main character? I kind of think that would be better and allow for more storyline opportunities.

Claude is a good bet. I like the idea, personally.
Where did you see the information about a PC release alongside the console releases? GTA is infamous in waiting 8-9 months before releasing the game for PC.

That was just a rumor that some dignard made up, it's the same person that said GTA V would be all of San Andreas and that the main character was a Hispanic man named Adrian.
@Leaf, it could be a new person. I was just saying if there's any likelihood that is a character they brought back from a past GTA, it would make the most sense if it was Claude.

Gotcha. Still a pretty long wait for this one, so plenty of time to speculate.

Definitely. Hopefully it's the typical GTA timeline where they market it for 7-8 months then release it, GTA games usually get released pretty quickly after being announced. Quickly being less than a year, but Rockstar is also a company who loves to take their time making games as good as possible.
I'm thinking a mid-late summer release.
GTA IV got announced in March of '07 and was slated for an October '07 release, which was 6 months after being announced, but it got delayed a month before release until April '08. So just over a year. But with Rockstar having a full grasp of the engine and the console tech, I assume they'll push this one out pretty quickly.
