I have this game pre-ordered along with Elder Scrolls V but im most likely going to cancel those and put that money towards my MW3 console.
I just bought Gears of War 3, Rage, and Forza 4. Need to save some money for the MW3 console and Battlefield 3.
Would love to get Arkham City right now, but the pre-order bonuses are nothing special and i don't have the time to play it.
For me my money is being saved for Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3 console. I would like to pick up Batman AA along with Goldeneye reloaded but there are other games i want to get first.
Honestly the way Batman Arkham is getting reviewed, it would not be a stretch to say that Arkham city is one of the best video games on either console.
I currently have a 120 gb Xbox 360 elite from March of 2010(not a slim).
With Xbox's proven track record, i doubt this one will last that much longer and i plan on keeping it around incase the MW3 one breaks. We are also running short on ethernet cable slots in our house for our network so we're making the move to wireless and i don't want to spend the $50 for Microsoft's adapter. My cousin who is in the marines is also looking for an Xbox 360 so i may send him my old one just because of how he is serving our country.

The extra hard drive space, extra wireless controller and a copy of the game for $100. Why wait for the console to break when i can take advantage.
I plan on getting Arkham City, just not when it comes out most likely(i still might get in). The games pre-order bonuses are not anything special(don't care for the video, i didn't like the challenge maps in Arkham Aslyum) and i just have multiple games right now, and im in the process of joining a clan in Black Ops so im spending more time on Call of Duty.
If i bought Arkham City, i would have the following games to play:
Gears of War 3
Rage
Forza Motorsport 4
Batman Arkham City
and than have Battlefield 3 coming out on the 25th.
I'm going to see if i can come up with the money on the side for Arkham city, i get paid either tomorrow or Tuesday so ill see if i want to pick it up now or wait until late November or December.
My birthday is Nov.19 so i may just wait for it then and try to get somebody to buy it for me
Between: Netflix, my Xbox live membership being renewed this month(on the 22nd), gym membership, car payment, credit card bills, plus all the various games i have bought recently AND the fact I'm in school it ain't easy to afford all these games
95 (360) and 97 (ps3) on metacritic. Ranking them as the 6th and 2nd best games on their respective consoles.
It is very sad that this game will not sell as well MW, battlefield, or even madden. From the sounds of it, this could be game of the year. To put that in perspective Elder Scrolls 5 comes out this year. Elder scrolls 5 is a game where I literally have told my doctoral advisor that there will be a week where I am more or less unavailable. Of course that is more of a reflection of my desire for Elder Scrolls 5 versus my future.
Regardless, this batman game deserves your attention.

I have skyrim reserved and i plan on getting it if Gamestop will hold my copy until the 15th which is when i get paid again near the release date of that game.
Arkham Aslyum was a great game and for me, a worthy challenge on easy.
I need to finish up Gears of War 3 plus Forza 4 and Rage before ill get around to Batman.
Closing at work tonight and ill get off in time to pick up Batman Tonight.
I'm seriously debating on picking this game up tomorrow. Now that you can trade in ipod's at Gamestop I should have enough to pick this up tomorrow and then Battlefield 3 next week.
Arkham Asylum was one of my best purchases in the video game realm.
I think this game will actually be better. My favorite part of Arkham Asylum was when you got drugged and the game reset your PS3 and restarted with a different opening scene. That part actually freaked me out. LOL.

Thanks for the info. Have been too busy to follow this stuff lately. But I think I know what I am doing this weekend now. I am not one to stop in on a midnight release especially when I have to work at 6 am but I could definitely see myself picking this up tomorrow sometime.

I gotta get up at 7 am for school and i work till 11:30 pm tonight so i figured what the hell, just pick it up tonight.

Nice. I am looking forward to Elder Scrolls and ME3. Also, Uncharted and Max Payne if that ever makes it to shelves, I feel like it has been delayed a few times now.
Well i asked Gamestop to hold the console for me until the 15th and they said they would(i also asked them to hold Skyrim until the 15th, that's when i get paid). Here's to hoping they don't sell it. I'm not sure if ill have the extra $400 around after i pay my bills so i am playing it safe.
I'm most likely going to sell my current console to a friend who's kid needs one(if they're interested) when the release date comes around.
