There's a world of difference in going to Bama for football training and exposure with your dad as a coach who ends up leaving and going to USF in that same scenario.
USF is good growing program, but they play in an at risk conference, have never really won anything and have a long way to go.
Bama is again for the third or fourth or fifth decade(depending upon who you ask) a perennial title contender. Big difference there.

I guess in the end the biggest decision that needs to be made is :
Is it more important to play for my dad?
Or is it more important to spread my wings a little and play for UF and against the best college competition in the country?
Because distance isn't really a major issue here as swampbabe pointed out.
He probably will play for his dad. But I don't think it's a slam dunk. I think we have a shot and you have to continue to recruit him.
I agree with you 100%, Elron. My point was that IF he committed there to play for his father, it still didn't work out for him. He could have stayed in Pittsburgh and played with his brother, etc.
Said that Miami and Clemson are recruiting him the hardest. What gives? Isn't he the only cornerback on the board that we really want? Just asking, I completely trust Muschamp and the staff as they have proven they can flat out recruit.

Not exactly sure but I would guess we would want to close out the secondary with Harris??? Numbers?

One more safety and one more corner. They both are in the plans
That leave us room for like 2-3 more players and we still have to take possibly Sherit, Walker, Ogundeko, another wide out, another O-line man (maybe even two), and a potential linebacker in Anzalone. If we happened to address our needs and take the kids that you "can't turn down", that would put us at 27. A few people will get the short end of the stick, unfortunately.

Well, depending on how many are EE's and if we have 1-2 transfers out during the season, and if a couple go to the Draft... then we could potentially have room for somewhere between 25-28.
I mean, overall, last year, we could have taken...what? 4-5 more? But the only one we got on NSD was Fowler. So I can only imagine that we will take this year, what we wanted to take last year.
I think we'll take 1 more WR, 1 more DE (Sherit), 1 more DT/DE (Walker), 1 Buck (??), 1-2 more Secondary (VH3 and Harris), and possibly 1 more OL (Tunsil), and very possibly the ever-elusive 3rd RB (Perhaps Mercer?). Take ALL of that, and it put's us at 26.

Stomp I'm going to need an extensive explanation on how the scholly numbers work lol, it's so confusing. You can only have 85 players on scholly at one time right? I heard we only have 17 seniors graduating and then factor in the 2 or 3 that leave early and the transfers. That's how I see us at no more than 24. EE's are what confuses me

A CB and S would bring us to 19. Seems like there might be 5 spots after that.

no sense in worrying about it this early in the process...you know how it always works itself out, and we still have this offseason, the season, and spring to shed...
Corey Long: If Hargreaves plays in Florida he'll play at USF (sorry Gator fans), his family is too close and he wouldn't leave his dad open to the sort of criticism he'd get in coaching circles for letting his son play two hours down the road.
If not USF it will be a top-tier out of state BCS program like 'Bama, USC, etc. etc.

I would agree with Corey if USF were on the same level as UF, but last time I checked USF hasn't even won a Big East Championship.

This is funny considering his top 3 are UF, Miami, and USF
