The D and ST won this game. Nothing new on offense really except those reverses were called more than once every 3 weeks.

Yes indeed Gatorage I am a real Gator with real degrees at Florida too! You on the other hand were not acting with class or good manners, something I've become accustomed to among fellow Gators. By the way, I am not your "pal" or your "friend" and yes you do sound like a taxi driver or maybe a Cane!

Good!!! , I have no desire to be your friend or pal, so have a nice day. I have my own degree, so I am not impressed there. And, I guess I didn't get the memo that you decided who is a 'real gator' or not.

I think the point most are naking is that you sound like a bandwagon fan when you declare "game over" or "I can't watch anymore". Being a "real fan" is always sticking by your team, so stop acting like little girls and back the Gators.
It is 100% OK to criticize playcalling and performance, but giving up and going away when things get tough shows your qualities of being a b*tch.
Stop acting so spoiled and support the Gators, but feel free to b*tch....just don't be that b*tch that gives up on the Gators!

I think what is being said is the whining and drama isn't all that contributory to the thread - but no one is directing this at you Maroon

Couldn't have won without Reed rushing for yardage - in my opinion he wasn't utilized properly - but that's nothing new around here.
Ahmad Black = MVP x 1,000!

Running 2 plays in a row with Demps still recovering from injury wasn't a brain storm exactly. Sooner Dazz leaves the better.

And evening up the Bowl record is a nice topping. I've been chagrined by that dubious indistinction for a lot of years.

I love it! Joe Pa is a legend, a class act, and a hero. Notice you never hear anything bad about Penn State players getting arrested etc. They play a clean game - no thugs! I wanna be Joe Pa!

Read did well, but turnovers set us up for well over half our points and a fumble at the GL from a blowout.
Scoring Drives were 15, 38*, 14*, 25, 53* asterisks denotes a FG. Reed averaged 2 yards a carry.
Entering today, Florida is 15-0 under Urban Meyer when blocking a punt. That was the Gators 21st block punt since 2005, the year Meyer took over

Points well taken, and I always do. I never stopped watching today or any other day. Believe me, being a Gator in LSU Tiger Country is not easy. But, Gator I am. Like others, I will 'post my gripes' here and there, but never stop supporting them. It is just the sanctimonious ' greater fan than thou' sentiment that a few seem to have that annoys me. But, to each his own, I guess. We are ALL GATORS !!!

Reed's average was skewed by the dumb calls of runs right into the middle. He wasn't perfect - he threw some off target passes - but he moved the chains for us.
I agree with Special Teams and Defense giving us the victory. But if Brantley had stayed in instead of Reed - we would have lost, in my opinion.

The D and ST's should be commended.
As usual, the OL struggled but the O managed to get some points because of what I believe was just better speed and conditioning than PSU's players.
The Gator D especially did well considering all the injuries and young guys playing today too.

I don't care how ugly the offense was. We won, and we will not see this offense ever again. By "this offense" I don't mean "the spread-option"--I mean "the 2010 Gator offense". That was a good game. It looks like our defense and special teams will be carrying us through the transition next year (minus some key losses, of course).

Gatorage,
There was nothing "greater than thou" issued your way. You just decided to insult an old timer that expressed his distaste for the whiners and b%tchers on this thread during the first half. I think that shows poor character on your part but you are quite correct...you have every right to be a whiny b%tch on these threads if you want to.

I hear what you are saying. Only, I did NOT direct any such insult your way or any other 'older gator'. Heck, I am hardly a youngster myself (43 yo), and Gator fan since 1984 Myself. I think I responded to something some one else may have said on here. But, I did not direct anything your way, nor was that my intention. Like others, I will gripe about things, especially if a game is going bad. But, never will I stop supporting the Gators. I agree there are times when complaints can get out of hand by some, and some will whine and complain no matter what. But, that is not me. Hey, we are all Gator fans here, and should be happy about a nice win today. We should be grateful to CM for his 6 years of success here and give him our best wishes for his future. And, now we look to a bright future for our beloved Gators. No harm, no foul, and GO GATORS, or as we spell it here in Louisiana. GEAUX GATORS !!!
