Which of course it's an away game and gives the Gators far less time to prepare for the game against the Georgia Bulldogs next Saturday. Which by the way UGA has this Saturday off! I have no doubt at all that Coach Meyer would have preferred to have had a very early kickoff time in Starkville to get the Miss State game out of the way !

Not disagreeing but hopefully the emphasis is on *one game at a time & do not get caught looking ahead - especially when playing in Starkville*

It will be very interesting to see what defense Mullen uses against the UF offense. Obviously he knows the offense as well as anyone. Will he load the box to stop the run, blitz TT up the middle to no end or something completely different?

I've heard from a Gator Alum and Ms. State Alum (Same Person) that most of the Gator Alums tailgate in the lot across from the Vet school. However I'm not sure where that is as this will be my first trip to Starkville so that doesn't help me out too much. The maps from State's website don't really help out all that much either...

I'm going to try and help you out here..
Your friend is likely tailgating somewhere on Stone Blvd or in the pay grass parking lot in front of the vet school. When you look at the gameday guide.. this is denoted by the yellow ($12 public parking) area next to the building labeled the Wise center in the bottom left of p.2.
If this is where you are going.. STAY off the main part of campus.
Traffic will be CRAZY. If you are coming from Tuscaloosa/ Hwy 82W you should STAY on 82 past the 182 exit and continue to the Hwy 12 exit. Take this exit and follow along till you hit the 2nd red light. The first one will be for Stone Blvd. DO NOT TAKE THAT ONE!, that is the heart of campus and right by the football field. Continue to the 2nd light to take a left turn onto Blackjack Rd. Blackjack Rd will take you up the back side of campus right next to the Vet School and the places you are looking for.
If you are coming from the South on HWY25 N, Take the Hwy 12 exit and continue through town to Blackjack Rd which will be on your right.
If anyone needs anymore questions answered..I will try my best.
Be Safe!
*edit* Here is the map from the Schools website with the Wise center noted on the map. You can select any building you like to find, zoom in or out. As Long as you can find your main focal points of The Stadium, Hwy 12, Hwy 182, Hwy 82, and Hwy 25...you should be able to use it to find your way anywhere.

Thank you for your information. I'm sure Gators going to the game in Starkville will appreciate it.

Maybe a disadvantage for our Gators but I was actually speaking as a fan who likes night games. But I'm not that considered about the Dogs this time as much as we used to before last year or am I overconfident? Are they better than last year?

Hopefully, the Gators can pick up on the delayed blitz this week. I'm sure Miss State saw how effective it was last week.

Miss State has always been a tough physical team. UGA resting at home will be watching you Gators so you need to look impressive and put a scare into their eyes like in previous years.

Come on boys let's do this right tonight. Defense is a little banged up but I know we'll still have a great defensive showing!

This game has a bad feel to it. Not sure I like the idea of 3 key defensive players out including Spikes against the 4th best RB. Hopefully, the younger guys pick up the slack.

I have a pretty good feeling on this game REAL, have faith.
I personally am sick and tired of hearing all these media pundits talk about how "Mullen knows the Gators", well, we know Mullen too and have the far better personnel, team, and coaching staff.
MSU will have to rely mostly on their big Tb to move the ball.
Jump out on these guys early and make him a non-factor. I just don;t think one big RB is going to beat us tonight. Only one guy can carry the ball at a time.
Gators will roll tonight.
