Never fails: Everytime this year S. Carolina is trying to improve its bowl bid from the Liberty/Music City level to the Outback/Peach level.

SC will likely lose their next 2 games: UF and clemson. If so, will they go to a bowl game at 6-6?

Wait until next year, no, this is next year, no wait, this is the 'New Carolina', oh, never mind. Hey, but there is one thing we are the best at; tarnishing legendary coaches:
Paul Deitzel: 1958 National Championship at LSU
Record at SC: 42-53-1
Lou Holtz: 1988 National Championship at Notre Dame
Record at SC: 33-37
Steve Spurrier: 1996 National Championship, and played for another (1995) at UF
Record at SC: 34–26
It remains to be seen whether Spurrier will have a winning record at SC before retiring.

Steve Spurrier is still a Gator Fan.
"Yeah, I pull for the Gators, sure. Almost all their games are on TV. And we're usually a night team; we've played 8 night games of our 10. So we get to see a half or so."

That's the great thing about football, there will always be a "next year"
Well...maybe not the 2011 season, the world ends after that.

Tend to agree with Brantley and McGriff on the pre-game radio show.
USC is pass heavy on offense and has lost all their games when they couldn't run effectively. They have also allowed the most sacks in the conference.
If the Gamecocks can't run, they're going to have a hard time making anything happen against this Gator D.
Back to the yard work!
Go Gators!

Really didn't expect the Vols to wilt like they did against Ole Miss. Here's to hoping the offense rolls this afternoon and Brantley is on the field in the third quarter.
