You have to establish the run. Hard to do if you never try...

I just wanted to say that I am very proud to be a gator! I know we lost, but we have had a good year and I think that they played very hard. It stinks we did not win, but it is great fun to watch the gators play football and really great to see them working as hard as they did! it has been such a pleasure to watch tebow play. we will get them next year!! lets go undefeated next year.. go gators!!

Sugar Bowl Hotel Room
Hey All...
I have a hotel room in NOLA for one night (January 1, 2010) and would like to trade (and pay additional) for any Gator fans that might have purchased tickets to the game in Pasadena in advance.
Please message me if interested...the room is at the Ritz Carlton on Canal Street.
Thanks!

Tough game, but I hear that we were playing against Drew Brees and Emmitt Smith, so that's pretty challenging.

Gosh, I hate it was Alligator Tears this year. Maybe we will make it back without Tebow next year for another try.

Not sure, but I think it's the Rammer Jammer. It was sooo loud this year too! Where had all my Gator Fans gone?

Its understandable and deadly- when the run is actually used- think the Ohio State game- tons of motion, speed option, jet sweeps etc.- that's what we do.

Really- when in the Tebow era has a back topped 20 carries? Tebow's the power back in our scheme- next year a guy like Richardson would get a ton of carries.

3 main issues I have as follows:
1. Very limited (and I emphasize very) running game. We have Demps, Rainey, Moody, and James (the first half anyway). How about getting the ball to Hernandez via screen passes too? Teebow runs are OK when they are integrated with a balanced attack but balanced we were not. We had speed and did not utilize it, in my opinion.
2. Poor tackling of the opponent upon contact. I realize they were large, strong, and well-conditioned but they basically run right through and over us.
3. The Teebow interception. Unacceptable at that stage of the contest and in a game of this magnitude. I believe we had a chance for a comeback up to this point.
So, these are the 3 things that bother me most about our performance.
I realize there were other factors involved in our loss.
I tip my hat to Alabama - for executing their victory. They earned it.
I just feel we fell very short of what could have been via the shortcomings as listed.
Proud of our team for getting this far and for everything they did this season.
Go Gators!
