He just said -

"The game should of never been that close..."

" We expect to win by 19 or 20 points a game.."

He also talked about spurrier not losing by that much and some other stuff.

This guy can't seem to go through a week without giving quotes like this. I know he is cocky but man... This guy loves t burn bridges. He is tring to make enemies real fast.

Saw it on ESPNU coach's spotlight.

He's going to keep doing it until some team really spanks him. We and others had a chance to do it and couldn't (or wouldn't) get it done.

Must be doing something right offensively. Compare Kiffin and Mullen in their first year to Spurrier in his 5th:

Just a clarification:

"I want to make sure that our players know we expect to win by 19, 20 points when we’re at home and a top 25 team comes in."

So strange a coach would want to raise the level of expectation.

Not me. UT will not have much next year as far as experience nor depth on both sides of the ball.

As much as I hate to admit it, he has done ok (not as great as his mouth would make you believe but not as bad I would have hoped). That said, lets see what he can do with his own recruits and after the rest of the league gets some more time to scheme against him and his Daddy. UT will compete better now, but I'd be shocked if Kiffin can go 5-0 against us. In fact the best he could do is 4-1.

Compare the talent Kiffen inherited with what Mullen inherited and what Spurrier had after he cleaned up the chicken coop.

I know UT was tired and disappointed with Fulmer, but he did not turn over a bare cupboard by any means.

I wouldn't judge them on the first year.

Lane has done much better than I thought. Whether you want to admit it or not the Vols have improved as the season has gone on. The team that thrashed UGA, took Bama to the wire, and demolished USCe is much better than the one who lost at home to UCLA.
That said Maj is the same person who used stats to prove the effectiveness of Ron Zook and Mike Shula while diminishing the accomplishments of coaches like Nick Saban. When he sees a popular opinion he goes scouring for stats to play devil's advocate.

I think it would be a more fair compairson to compair Kiffin with past coaches at Tennessee and Spurrier with past coaches at USCe. Nobody wins at USCe everybody wins at UT.

So if they beat us 38-21 next year (Not going to happen, but hypothetically), it won't be good enough for him because they didn't get that extra safety to make it a 19 point win instead of 17. This guy takes idiocy and false bravado to a whole new level.
