So just because he did not SUCCEED in his effort that makes the EFFORT TO DO SO acceptable - or excusable, to you?
I dare say you would have a completely different tone in your comment if Tebow was on the receiving end of such a ploy - even it it failed, by a Bulldog on Saturday.
And frankly, Tebow's excusing and rationalizing the play after the game was just as embarrassing as Spikes' effort.
Both were utterly disguisting.
And this 'half-game suspension' is a freaking joke. Hell, the Georgia player just might have a legitimate civil action against Spikes AND The University of Florida.
All those who chime in with comments about FSU or Miami players being thugs but excuse this (not sure if you are one or not, this is a more general comment) need to rethink things.
