Question Any video of the Tim Tebow eye gouge?

I watched the game last night, and saw tebow leave the field and have his eye washed out right after a UGA player rolled over on tebow after the tackle and had his hand suspiciously close to Tebow's facemask...

you couldn't see the hand b/c it was under his body, but Tim immediately runs off the field squinting and closing his eyes...

does anyone have the time and ability to clip that video and post?

I think he just got some trash in his eye. Who knows though? It's possible that one of their players gouged out his eye. I didn't see him missing an eyeball, but it's possible. Heck, it's even probable considering what Spikes did was gouging.

Seriously though man, I didn't see it, but I did see him on the sideline squirting water into his eye. And it's not like UGA wasn't trying cheap stuff all game...

When I watched it, I got the sense it was because he had dirt in his eye. You don't use water to wash off a gouge.

Or do you think the guy maybe had dirt under his fingernails and left that in Tim's eye?

I have no idea why ran off the field to get his eye washed out, it is just that if you look at the tackle the UGA defender lies on tebow for an extra second and is moving his hand around Tebow's face, you cannot see the hand but , like w/ the Darnell Dockett episode, it looked like an unusual delay and unusual body movements...

Tim stands up and runs off the field...Tim's facemask did not hit the ground so how he got dirt in his eye I don't know, but I wonder whether that is why Tim spoke up for Spikes, b/c the same thing happenned to him...

I mentioned before that I told the wife as Tebow was getting up that he had something in his eye. It wasn't an eye gouge at all.

This time of year they sand the fields, thought he has some sand in the eye.

Just sawit on the SEC digital Network replay...

Its the last play of the 3rd quarter, tebow runs off right tackle for a first down, and #51 Akeem Dent tackles him and then you can see his elbow come up unnaturally high as if he was digging into something...Tebow runs off the field opening and shutting his eyes...

...when CBS returns it shows a replay of it two plays in at the14:14 mark of and Danielson wonders whether Tebow got poked in the eye...

calling that an "eye gouge" is sensationalism at it's very best. Looks pretty incidental to me. In football, you get poked in the eye all the time...by accident.

I know, I lost my sight in my left eye for 2 days in high school because of getting poked in the eye during practice.

Nothing to see here.
