I have to tell you something Ray, when I started following my Gators in the early 1980's
I never thought we would never catch up in the series with either Georgia or Tennessee.
And when Spurs was blown out to the tune of 45-3 at Neyland to start his tenure, I really
believed I'd never see us come close to them in my lifetime unless something drastic changed.
Well, here we are in 2009 and ready to move ahead for the 1st time ever in the series.
This is one opponent that we should have always had an advantage over.
Does anyone realize we played (and lost) the 1st game to these clowns a year BEFORE
World War I ???
If it were not for the 1st 10-20 games that we lost before television was even invented, who
knows how much we would lead these clowns by.....

Heck...most of our losses to UT were what...in the 20s and 30s? We hardly played them in the 50s 60s or 70s. Same with Ole Miss. Looking forward to getting caught up to UGA.

May be a good idea to bring your poncho to The Swamp as there is a 50% chance of rain during the game.

I'm sure it will be a great game. I look forward to reading about it. Saturday is Rosh Hashanah. The TV and the computer are off limits in the Strange household during high holidays. Don't forget that it's also Talk like a Pirate Day. L'Shana Tov… arrgghhh!

Isn't there a loophole here. I thought you weren't allowed to do any work on the Sabbath, thus you couldn't turn the TV on. But if you turned it on Friday night before dusk and left it on until the game started, you wouldn't be doing any work.
Just a suggestion.

Or do like my Hassid neighbors on one hot holiday afternoon ... they asked me to come over and turn their air conditioner on.

This is unreal in playing an SEC team but the Gators have now gone to being a 29 1/2 point favorite!
