Oyen loses 6-3, 7-5.
Janowicz loses 6-2 in the 3rd.
Duke clinches the win 4-0. Not sure if they will play out the remaining matches.
Quite a disappointing performance. Not that an early season match like this means much in tennis, but still hopefully we can bounce back and put up a more respectable effort tomorrow at #1 UNC.

4-0 it is over. Lost every 2nd set.
We seem to lose one early on every year and it only ends up helping us. But #1 UNC tomorrow, Stanford next Sunday, could be a rough week.

Amazingly we lost the 2nd sets on all 6 courts, with Embree losing #1 in a tiebreak.

with the new indoor facility, do you see the gator teams getting much better w/ their indoor game(s)?

Did they resurface the courts, or is it still just outdoor courts wih a roof over them? If so it won't improve their indoor games much at all.

Oyen and Jano had really strong fall seasons, but neither has played anywhere near that level in the early spring. Never been a huge Hitimana fan, but she may start getting a few looks in Jano's spot (doubles also).
