Grades v SE Lou
Way too big of a blow out to spend time on grades. A few points...
KB: another night of shooting on the way down like his soph year. Need to regain that jr year form
BO: Still doesnt show me anything and is a liability defensively not sure why he is ahead of Graham.
Walker: another game another shot 1st touch - has to stop
feel free to discuss

Frazier clearly has the green light from deep but I think only one of his shots was actually within the rhythm of the offense. That bugged me a bit.
Very off night for Murphy. Its not often that he doesn't hit from deep at least once, and he wasn't all that active tonight, or so it seemed to me. He definitely got beat badly defensively a few times in the second half but I chalk that up to the 25+ pt lead at that point.
Rosario had a great night and I'm not so sure he shouldn't be handling more of the ballhandling on a regular basis. Loved KB passing to him when both had an open look.

1. I am a believer in shooting ones way out of a slump. I wish Boynton had taken at least one more 3 in the second half. He made one, then missed one and then passed up an open three.
2. I too was surprised that Ogbueze got in the game first. He did however not force offense for himself tonight.
3. I agree that Walker needs to let the game come to him a bit. I was a bit disappointed that Frazier forced his offense too. He gets real shot when the game is on the line. He does not need to force it in garbage time. He and really all of the frosh should be working on getting good shot for themselves and their teammates. Forcing up quick shots is not the way to playing time.

If you are going to straight qoute from me you should at least give me credit
From last night:
Kenny is shooting on his way down again, he needs to watch some tape and start releasing a shot at the top of his jump again
Just byb, karma

Tupac gets an "F" for his grades on this game...
Too big of a blowout? We've had 5 of these already and you graded those...

I think Braxton is probably only ahead of Dillon Graham because of position depth. I think Billy wanted to get Prather and Frazier some more minutes. I was ok with BO getting in when he did because I think he needs the experience.
Walker's mentality reminds me somewhat of Ray Shipman when he was here in that he knows his minutes are limited and tries to get his while he's in there.

I'll also give an A to the announcers. Vettel and Santa Koss are easily the least annoying announcers

good to see the young'uns get into the game. we needed this game - a breather/blowout - to help get some p.t. for the freshmen. i'm sure they are getting alot of feedback from coaches on their shot selection.
was interesting to get tv shots of the bench, watching the starters watch the subs play (w/ smiles, etc) (i got the impression the starters know exactly what donovan will tell the freshmen in the next practice).

Due to his PG duties, Boynton no longer is running screens and getting open looks
When both KB and SW are in, I think KB should play the 2
Young needs to touch the ball more down low
Murphy had an off night, though they seemed to play pretty good defense in the paint
Rosario is replacing Boynton's shooting right now and is playing much disciplined on offense, and with a lot more aggressiveness on defense
Scotty had some nice assists and always comes with the pressure
Prather has been playing great, and I hope Billy starts trying to get him the ball more
Frazier needs to be more disciplined
Walker hasn't seen a shot he won't take...IMMEDIATELY
Thought our first half defense was a little slow and our press wasn't picking up the release man....2nd half we turned it up

Hard to change anything with Scottie right now the way he is shooting, he is around 50% from three, we are better off having KB concentrate on assists to Rosario, Frazier and Scottie while they are all hot, Let his shots come in transition and after offensive boards

They are hired by the broadcast co not UF. What gators need to desperately replace is the PA guy for hoops. I've heard HS kids do a better job plus his voice is sub par for that gig. Heck I would do it if I lived in state.
