We are still $250 Billion short. We would need to up taxes on everybody at least 30% to pay for entitlements and interest on debt. Even if you took everyone's pay as 100% taxes, we still only pay for 25% of discretionary spending. We still would need to cut discretionary spending by 75% stay at break-even. Anyone with a tenth of a brain knows you can't tax income at 100% - not even at 50%.

So the obvious thing to do is cut entitlements. No choice since you can't touch interest on debt. Considering interest rates will only rise over the next couple of years and last decades and debt will be at $20 Trillion by the time Obama leaves office, you have to cut entitlement spending in addition to discretionary spending which includes every program Pelosi indicated in her speech in 2012.

I never got a response back from her or her posse.
Well duh. They don't like those pesky numbers interfering with their wealth envy and vote buying.

pelousy and here cronies don't have a "spending problem" at all.

They have NO PROBLEM WHATSOEVER with spending OUR money. Easy as pie.
