Our coaches singled out Morrison last year and decided that was the kind of LB we want. I think Antonio has reset the standard for "physical enough." I'm good with that.

Yeah it was easy to see from film Morrison was going to be a good one. I said last cycle my two favorite players were Morrison and Ledbetter and those two would make the team more physical.
The kid that I think will surprise a lot of people from this class is Joey ivey
Matt Rolin is seriously thinking about flipping to the Gators
Please forgive my recruiting ignorance, but which s hook is Doling committed to as of now? Love the intensity Morrison has. Anything like him, sign 'em up Coach! Thanks.

GO GATORS! !!!
I am going to guess you were asking about Rolin he is committed to South Carolina where most of his family went to school.
The Gators are working hard to flip him or bring in Trey Johnson who seems to be focusing on Florida and Ohio state
Do you have an opinion on who will be the better and who do you think we may be able to pick up if any?
I like both of them about the same. If I had to guess I think we probably miss on both. Trey to tOSU and Rolin to South Carolina. Rolin also just had ACl surgery so he will have to red shirt. Names might seem new but the staff never stopped recruiting Trey or Matt.
Gators might have to settle for Jarrad Davis we probably should have taken Freddie Stevenson when we had the chance.
AZ, are we wanting 4 LB's or is the staff wanting reassurance in case one flips to somewhere else (Hearns or McMillan? Can't remember which showed brief interest in OSU)?

The bold I think its a little of both. McMillian did visit tOSU but he is not going to flip. Hearns still has visits to take one will be to tOSU. Powell also will visit USCw and his friend Leonard is on the team.

Hopefully they all stick. Another question, what about Mackenzie Alexander's comments about the hiring of joker Phillips? Are we continuing to pursue him? If so could he play both ways? CB and WR?

T Rob had a in home visit to Mathew Thomas this week and Thomas might take a visit in January now
So it looks like he is on the staff's radar now. I don't get why we wait so late to make pushes for south Florida kids
He will take official visits to Georgia, Alabama, Florida State, USC, and Florida. Not taking an officials to Miami because of proximity he can go there anytime.
Here is recent interview he doesn't talk about the Gators but he wasn't asked about them

Just my opinion, but if Alexander came on board, I could see VHIII getting a look at WR. I know he's a great CB, but if he played WR, he'd get on the field sooner than any of the other WRs in the class. That would put Washington at CB, but he might be destined to play there anyway. Muschamp likes physical CBs.

While Vernon might be the best WR in the class CWM is not going to put him on offense especially since we will probably bring in 5 WR'S. Poole VH3 and Mack(if we get him) will be molded to replace the 3 we have now.

Most underrated player in this class. Read a few items about what a phenomenal senior season he had. Ivey's supposed to be a very intelligent player and an intense competitor. I can see him being a primary backup at SSDE, with Bullard and Easley (if he returns) both moving inside. Getting him in early could make a huge difference, just like it did with Morrison.
