I've been to every SEC stadium (with the exception of Mizzou) and both the Swamp and Death Valley are in a league of their own--with everyone else playing for second.

In saying that, the Swamp has lost a bit of its luster in recent years--but this past season did a lot to restore the previous advantage it gave our team. The LSU game this past year was loud from start to finish and you could definitely sense that LSU's players were affected by the atmosphere--heck, they all but admitted it after the game.

Winning cures everything, especially quiet stadiums.

It all dependes on what's going on,on the field. If we're not playing well fans degenerate into a cone of silence, the same as it is anywhere. Older fans keep on keeping on while younger fans get ready for the night out and get silent.

The Swamp is not only the loudest stadium in the SEC but in the known universe as well.
